I am rejecting this response because:
A complete obfuscation of the problem at hand - profit motive trumping patient treatment

Mr ***'s referring physician had referred him to Whitney Sleep Diagnostics for a sleep study, based on study results patient was appropriately diagnosed by an Internal Medicine Board Certified Sleep Specialist who recommended appropriate therapy for the patient. Dr
Whitney met with patient to review results and discuss treatment. Patient opted for treatment, patient started therapy and decided to return therapy against medical advise. We have had many phone conversations with patient both to assist in the therapeutic outcome and re educate. After return of the prescribed therapy patient started calling stating his displeasure with our services but could not tell us what his specific displeasure was other than he was prescribed therapy. Patient sent us a letter outlying what he will do unless he receives a check from Whitney Sleep in the amount of 969.17, this amount is not owed to Whitney Sleep Diagnostics but to the hospital where his sleep study was performed. The patient's balance for professional services rendered to Whitney Sleep Diagnostics is 80.73. We have tried to resolve and attempt to have a better understanding of his displeasure in our services, we cannot change what his diagnosis is based on the diagnostic findings and with those findings the recommended treatment. I am sorry it was Dr Adriana [redacted] our Neurologist/Board Certified sleep physician who provided care to the patient, not Dr Whitney. thank you,
