The LACK of customer service from a female dressed in black is amazing. Today I saw a customer ask her a question regarding food for a pet and she just walked away and did not help the customer and had the customer waiting for a response that never was offered. The girl behind the counter was a bit more helpful. I have seen this female in the store on a regular so maybe it is the manager or supervisor. It looks like it is bored with the job... so leave...and free up the position for someone else who has an idea what customer service is and how it practiced in a business. The female has gotten away with being rude and ignoring customers due to this pet store being the only one in Pelham Parkway white Plains Road. It would be really nice to see resting... face be replaced with someone else with basic customer service skills.

The customer came in on 11-3-15, I spoke with her and told her that I would contact my vendor to see how I could get her credit for the item she purchasedI asked her for her name and phone number, which she left for meI immediatly emailed my vendor for credit help, which I have the email and response from my vendor, and had gotten a response from the vendor the next day, 11-4-stating they would not issue me credit unless is was damaged or defective when purchasedI then called the customer, and I? have ? a sales associate that was present when I made the phone call to the customer, and left her a message that I could not return the item but to please call me back so that I might be able to help her outI have not been called back by this customer or even given an opportunity to get her a refundI was going to offer her an in store creditWe do not sell sub-standard items at our storeWe have all kinds of toys at various prices, to which there is no stated warranty on any of themWe work with every customer and always offer either a refund or in store creditWe do have a company policy that we adhere to, as all business doI have worked with other cutomers as far as returns go and they have been very satisfied.We strive to satisy every customer I have done everything that I could do to help this customerPlease see the attatched email correspendence between the vendor and myselfThank you, [redacted] Whole Pets Markets #Bastrop

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Their claim to have called, regardless of a worker being a witness, is untrue No message was left and the store number does not come up on my wife's phone If she does not sell sub-standard merchandise as she states then it is hard for me to understand a chew toy for a dog that lasts less than minutes before it is ripped apart She obviously should have made arrangements with her vendor for the torn item if she only sells quality merchandise and they will only refund her for defective items Regards, [redacted]
