Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/08/07) */
Dear **,
First and foremost I would like to apologize for any misunderstanding from our conversation or advertisementI received a flight request from Mr*** wanting to go to ***I called him and I left him a message to call
me back so I can talk to him regarding his trip to ***He never called me back, so I decided to call him back again a 2nd timeThis time he answered the phoneI proceeded to talk to him and ask him questions regarding his tripI asked him if his dates was flexible, if he was looking for a particular flight and I asked him if he had any miles he may want to use towards his trip to reduce the costHe said noHe then proceeded to tell me that he wanted the *** flight that we advertised for $to ***He also mentioned the $discountI mentioned to him I could not get him an *** flight for $for the dates he neededNowhere on our advertising does it state dates of the flight and number of stopsThe price we show is the lowest possible price with several stops for low seasonHe proceeded to argue with me about the advertisingI explained to him that our advertising does not say *** non-stop for $I offered him a flight that would get him to *** in days and return would get him back home in daysI explained to him that it was available for $and then he asked plus the $offI said to him $coupon is for tickets over $5000, which in this case it would be $and not qualify for this couponIt states this on the coupon terms and conditionsI offered to send him the flight details and asked him if he wanted to book itHe told me " NO" I want the flight that you sent me for *** non-stopI told him I'm sorry I cannot get you *** for $for the dates you wanted to travel and non-stopWe never sent him a non-stop flight for the dates he wantedThat is an outright lie on your behalfHe put me on hold and had me listen to his hold music and then he hung up on meHe called me back and claimed that I hung up on him, I tried to explain to him that I did not hang up on him and that he put me on hold and then disconnected the call, he didn't want to believe meHe then got upset with me telling me that he is sick of dealing with companies who sends out advertisingI told him it is not false, we have the flight availableHe seemed to be keened on wanting *** flight for $I know for a fact that it does not show any where that we offered *** for $for the dates and on-stop as he requestedThe price is starting price for low season and several stopsAlso below the prices it clearly stated All the emails that we send to clients also state the following:
Please note: All fares are valid only at the time of quotationThey are subject to change and are dependent on availability at time of bookingNo fare can be guaranteed until a ticket is issued
He claims that I swore at him and I was rude to himI was not rude to him, I was simply trying to help him and also help him understandHe refused to understand what I was saying to himI had two people listening to this call and they both claim that I never once was rude to him nor did I swear at himHe asked for our office address and I gave him the address, he asked me for our legal department and I informed him that we do not have a legal department in our officeI told him we do have a lawyer and he asked me what is your lawyers name, I told him I do not know his nameBut if you want to right a complaint and want to address it our attorney then go ahead and write the letter and mail it to our office
I have never once received this kind of a negative review from anyoneI always do my best to help all of my client and to assist them with question that they do not understandWholesale flights did nothing wrong, we did not offer him any prices, I had a flight for him but he didn't want itI totally believe that this all a misunderstanding on both parties
Sincerely,
*** C
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2014/08/08) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Sadly, Mr*** and Wholesale Flights digs a deeper hole and expands upon the company's admissions that the prices advertised for ***ust ARE NOT AVAILABLE IN AUGUST, thus showing the ads are advertisements
The above recitation by Wholesale Flights and its unethical representative is inaccurate in many partsThere are numerous material misrepresentations (for example, I do not have "Hold music" on my cell phone, so he must have been thinking of someone else besides me that he berated with info)The title of the ad email is "Hot ***ust Business and First Class Deals!" and it shows *** Airlines as being part of this special with a business class price of dollars for tickets from *** to *** on ***
What does my having or not having miles have anything to do with a promotional fare with an alleged promo code and why does Mr*** mention this in his responseBecause the company apparently relies upon other clients' miles and sets up unapproved accountsI did read from other Revdex.com Complaints about this company that they had fraudulently used clients' miles and set up accounts on their behalf, causing one client to be stranded in *** after having bought a ticket for many thousands of dollarsThat client was accused of fraudulently using other persons' miles, when in fact the Wholesale Flight persons were the responsible persons
The email I received on ***ust 5, from *** *** at Wholesale Flights has a bogus itinerary with the word "URGENT" attached as though I needed to purchase quicklyIn truth, the itinerary is flawed on its face with a return portion of the flights leaving on ***ust 30, (WHICH THE BOGUS ITINERARY INCORRECTLY STATES IN EACH OF THREE PURCHASE OPTIONS AS BEING A THURSDAY, WHEN IN REALITY AUGUST IS A SATURDAY)
In no fashion did I insist on "non-stop" from *** to ***I simply informed this rude man that the *** to *** flight on *** is itself a non-stop and that the itinerary seemed to indicate such fact using the number zero (0) for the number of stopsThe ad I received indicates *** to *** on *** in ***ust of for dollars only if the ticket is purchased before ***ust Mr*** rhetoric is flawed in justifying "the lowest advertised flight on *** in business class for ***ust from *** to *** being dollars" as no such business class promo existed at any point that the Defendants sent the bogus advertising to me in the month of ***ust
I would like for Wholesale Flights to prove to me specifically what *** Flights on business class *** *** is referencing in his response above (and in the itineraries below he sent me), that he claims were to be departing on ***ust **, and returning on ***ust 30, for the price of dollarsI have been assured by *** that none exist
I have copies of the advertisements and the bogus itineraries showing that *** was the airline selected and that the itinerary indicates ZERO scheduled stops between *** and ***
The very fact that Mr*** states above that he could not get a business class ticket for the month of ***ust on *** Airlines for a price close to 3,is prima facie proof that the ads sent to me were misrepresentations
Mr*** and Wholesale Flights do not have a valid itinerary for *** Airlines from *** to *** in business class allegedly taking days, although I have demanded such
The itinerary I received from Wholesale flights (below) shows ZERO stops from *** to *** and returning on ***I contacted *** airlines and confirmed again that they do not have any such promos and that they would in no fashion have honored any such promo from Wholesale Flights on ***ust 5, for a 4-day non-stop flight from *** to ***
Interestingly, as I was typing this, I received another statement advertising from Wholesale Flights that they allegedly tried to reach me on my phone but that the phone did not workMy cell phone has been continuously working for many years
Wholesale Flights has other bizarre nonsensical and questionable language in its advertising emails, such as in the ***ust 5, email ad I received with the below itinerary attached, where it was stated: "Please note: All fares are valid only at the time of quotation." I have asked *** Airlines if on ***ust 5, 2014, the date I received the quote from this company and the below itinerary, whether any business class tickets from *** to *** were priced at $3,I was assured to the contrary
I am cutting and pasting another piece of proof that the emailed advertisement was fraudulent, as *** *** states in his response that the advertised price on *** Airlines for the "***ust promo" that must allegedly be purchased prior to ***ust 9, in his words: "The price we show is the lowest possible price with several stops for low season." This phrase is again repeated by Wholesale Flights in their response aboveIn other words, Mr*** and Wholesale Flights seem to admit in their response above, with the statement I just quoted, that the alleged advertised price for the ***ust promo is not even a price available in ***ust !! Why does Wholesale Flights indicate "Hot ***ust Business and First Class Deals" and "up to % off: at the top of the email ad when they are allegedly relying upon some sort of alleged "low season" fare that *** Airlines indicates does not even exist at all? The answer is that the company is intentionally trying to defraud the reader and misrepresent a special that in fact does not exist
BELOW I HAVE PASTED THE BOGUS ITINERARY THAT *** *** AND WHOLESALE FLIGHTS SENT TO MEIT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT THE PROMO PAGE I INITIALLY RECEIVED HAS INCOMPLETE AND NONSENSICAL SENTENCES SUCH AS "PROMO VALID BETWEEN 8/4/and TICKET(S) MUST BE BOOKED ON OR BEFORE 8/9/14" How can a promo be valid "between" one day? I am happy to forward the actual emails from this horrible company to the Revdex.com so it can truly appreciate the "bait and switch" tactics used in the fraudulent ads
HERE ARE THE LAUGHABLE AND BIZARRE ITINERARIES WITH DIFFERENT PRICES THAT WHOLESALE FLIGHTS SENT ME JUST PRIOR TO MY CONVERSATION WITH MR ***

Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2014/08/12) */
Dear **,
My name is *** *** I am the co-founder and CFO of Wholesale Flights IncI want to express my personal and sincere apology for thisI understand your concern and complaintTo reference regarding the client stating we stole miles or did something fraudulent was a complete lieThis client was attempting to get a free ticketHe flown both ways than disputed his charge trying to get a full refundThis was proven to his credit card company and Revdex.comThat complaint was closedPlease understand that the prices we advertise are based on availability and days of travel Airlines change their prices 4-times per dayIf we send an email out, prices may change minutes after that We have no control over the price changes by the airlinesThat is why on every agent's email they have the following
Please note:
All fares are valid only at the time of quotationThey are subject to change and are dependent on availability at time of bookingNo fare can be guaranteed until a ticket is issued
I am sorry that you wasted your time dealing with ***, and price was not available by the time you called or emailed backHowever, *** did offer you an option that you did not like with multiple stopsUnfortunately we can not offer a price difference of what the ad showed and what the prices are with the airlines direct, because one we have contracts that are cheaper than online, we do not control the fluctuation of the prices that the airlines makeThe airlines control thatI would hate for you to waste anymore time dealing with our Company, therefore I would ask not to contact us for future flights since it has not worked out this farI will remove you from our emails and system so that you will not receive anything else from usIf for some reason you still receive anything please email ***@wholesale-flights.com to get yourself removed
I hope and wish for you to have a better rest of the day and not get so upset over this small issuesLets all enjoy life and live in peace :) God bless

I've booked a couple of tickets with *** here at wholesale flightsHe's attentive and easy to reach at any time of needI'm satisfied with his services and will continue to book with him

All went well until I was stuck in London with no flight home to Australia as my booking, according to the airline, had never been confirmedThe agent had left so I spoke with ***, the rudest person I have EVER had the misfortune to deal with who insisted I hadn't paid the full amount, which I had, and refused to assist when I asked to speak to his superior claiming he was the bossHe has since repeatedly sent me spam emails telling me what a wonderful deal he can give meDespite me requesting to be removed from the email spam list I still get them offering me great deals and wonderful serviceIt is not worth the hassle of contacting them, promise the world, deliver nothing

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/12/07) */
We booked Ms*** a couple of flightsOne with Air Canada and one with DeltaThe problem was once her flights was booked, something came up on her end and she needed to cancel her flightsWe explained to her that she can only cancel
and keep a credit good for yearShe has tried to use her credit to book another flightHowever, when we worked on her new request to Europe, Delta was giving a big fare differenceThe flight she wanted she only wanted Delta Airlines since she was departing from Portland Oregon
We had no luck using her credit because she would have had to pay a very high fare differenceSo we informed her that maybe it would be best for her to use this credit for another trip since right now the fare difference is really highThe client was not willing to pay a high fare differenceThe client is aware of how the credit works
We know that we haven't been able to use her credit and we are willing to extend her credit longer to book another flight for herWe have been in contact with the client and we have emailed herWe will send her another email and we will inform her whenever she needs to take another flight to just let me knowNext flight she wants to take, we will inform her of the fare difference and ask if she is willing to pay it
The client makes it seem like we are not trying to help her, this is not the case at allIt is just a matter of availability and being able to find her a good flight
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/12/20) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This note is to provide a response to Wholesale FlightsThey are glossing over some important facts related to using the credits for the over $13,that I've paid for which I have received absolutely nothingThey are mistaken when they claim that I have only tried to use the ticket credits from Portland on Delta airlines onlyI have contacted them on a near-monthly basis to obtain tickets for the credits with numerous itinerariesI have requested the following flights within the past year all of which been denied:
Los Angeles to Amsterdam
Chicago to London
Chicago to Paris
Portland to Amsterdam
Portland to Reykjavik
Portland to Tokyo
(On any available airline)
I have requested multiple city departure points and flexible dates in order to be as accommodating as possibleI have each of these inquiries to Wholesale Flights documented to prove that I am correctI have been flexible and willing to fly in off-peak times and in each case I'm met with the same responseWe can't find you a flightThere was even an example in September when I contacted *** to use the credit to go to Europe and then received a message back in October that he had to go back to his home country and that was why my email request went unansweredThey are disorganized and unreliableThey emailed me to see how my trip went on September 29th even though I had not gone on any tripMy last attempt at contact with them was on 11/19/for which I've received no responseI have made every reasonable attempt to re-book my airline tickets with Wholesale FlightsThis company is unwilling and unable to provide reasonable accommodation to use the ticket creditsThis is a well-known scam in the travel industryThere are two primary concerns that I have about this company:
1) Using other people's airline miles for booking ticketsI have proof of this as it is in my documentation when I originally booked the ticketsSomeone else's name is all over the ticket documentsIt makes one wonder if they are stolen or from deceased individuals? Even if they simply purchase airline miles from people directly and re-sell them, this is a form of fraud in the airline industry that is well-documented
2)There are numerous examples online as well as in the public information found in the Revdex.com complaint forum that people have been stranded overseas without valid return ticketsPerhaps this is related to the airline miles not matching up with the passenger's identity? For this reason, it would be dangerous to utilize tickets issued from Wholesale Flights
Additionally, when they state they will contact me about this issue since this complaint was opened with the Revdex.com...as yet they have not
As a reasonable middle-ground compromise, I ask that my credit card be refunded the sum total of $13,This is the amount owed to me less the amount in penalties as stated in the contract

Response from ***:
What *** *** is saying is not trueI have tried to help the client use her credit and at the time, I had no luck finding a flight for her because the difference in fare was really highShe did ask me to help her with another flight but then informed me she no longer needed my help and that she will reach out to me again when she is ready to book
I did not ignore her, I did reply to her and I did keep in contact with herI want to be able to help her use this credit for a future flightHer credit is not lost and she still has the credit with us that does not expireI emailed the client informing her that she does still have a credit with usI sent her this email the first time she wrote the Revdex.com complaintSo, for her to state that I never emailed her or contacted her is not true
I forwarded the email to the clientI sent her an email on the 8th of DecToday, I sent her another email informing her that her credit is not lost and I also forwarded the email I had sent her
For her to state I'm not trying to help her and not communicating with her is falseWhat do you want me to do if she did not get my emailsSounds like a server problem on her end

Subject: RE: Revdex.com Complaint
Hi ***,
How are you? I hope you are doing wellI wanted you to know that we did receive your Revdex.com Complaint
I want you to know that it is not my intention on not wanting to help you use your flight credit
During the time you had asked me to use your credit to go to EuropeI did work on itI did keep you in contact and informed you that I have not found anything good yet for your trip to EuropeI also informed you that the fare difference was going to be really high
I was working on finding you a flight that did not require for you to pay a huge difference in fare
I want you to know that your money is not lostYour credit is still with Wholesale FlightsSo, please let me know when you are ready to use your credit
I will make sure this time I get you a flight and offer you what I have
Then you can decide if you want to go ahead and book itI do have to let you know when you are ready to book another trip, you do have to pay a penalty and fare differenceI will not know how much of a fare difference you will have to pay until you are ready to book another trip
I will reply to the Revdex.com complaint and state that you do have a credit with us and when your ready to use it, I will be here to help you
Please get back to me and confirm you received this email
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2015/12/31) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I have been attempting repeatedly to use my flight credits ever since At no point did I say to *** that I no longer needed his help, as he stated in the responseThe only communication that I have had with him is from an email on 12/23/since I have filed this Revdex.com complaintIt has only been since the complaint was opened that they have responded to me at allFrom the numerous complaints about this company, it appears that this is commonThey have ignored me for weeks on end over the past year and a half, making it impossible to use the credits
From this point forward, I ask that ONLY the CEO/owner respond to my caseHe *** not be aware that *** is issuing tickets using illegal booking practicesIt is clearly stated from both Delta Airlines and Air Canada (with whom my original tickets were booked) that they will not honor tickets purchased from fraudulent frequent flier miles and will cancel at their discretionThis is why 'customers' are left stranded without valid ticketsAgain, I can prove this as the name on the documents did not match my nameWholesale Flights does not tell their potential customers that they are coupon brokersAirlines have been attempting to crack down on illegal mileage practices for yearsI am unable to use tickets that have been illegally issued and will continue to be illegally issued in the futureI will include the links to Delta and Air Canada policy on illegally using someone else's airline miles:

I've had nothing but positive experiences with wholesale flightsWhether I need to book, change or cancel my flight, they are alwasy quick to respondIt has been a pleasure working with them and I plan to continue doing business with them for the long run

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/06/17) */
Dear [redacted],
First and foremost my sincere apologies for what has happened to you at the airport. We have never ( EVER ) had this happen before. The points obtained were authorized by the Amex account holder and were NOT stolen. We do...

not and have never done anything illegal. Otherwise we would not be in business for 8 years. We have agreements with corporations to use their Amex points for travel. I will personally investigate this matter and get to the bottom of it. [redacted] explained to you the process of booking your discounted your ticket, and the fact you will not earn any miles flying. In return you will save thousands of dollars on your ticket. We issued and charged the exact flight and amount you agreed to. You did use the outbound flight without any issue. If you did have an issue with the return flight we will issue you a 50% refund back to your credit card after we investigate this matter. Please email me your receipts or credit card statement for any charges you had to pay at the airport. Also we did not use any of your personal information beside your name to issue your ticket. The fact that your seeking for $7,650.55 refund is absurd. You are asking for us to pay 100% of your trip? I am sorry but you are not a charity for us to donate tickets too. If you were we would consider for a good cause. However if you did have to buy a new return flight we will refund you 50% OR $2500 back to your credit card. Please see the contract that you signed and agreed to at the time of purchase.

Issue was resolved via an email from [redacted] on 06/17/14. I will look for my refund with in 3-5 business days.
Thank you.

Just returned from Italy using Wholesale Flights for business class tickets. I read some questionable reviews, so I was a little nervous but it worked out perfectly. I worked with [redacted] who very patient with my many questions. We had no issues with any of our flights. We will be using them again.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/03/25) */
[redacted],
Our sincere apologies for the unfortunate situation we put you in. I want to express that this is no way [redacted] fault. He is one of our top agents. We issue our tickets through Wholesale Consolidators. The one we were using for...

your tickets promised us the price we quoted you. Unfortunately when we went to go issue your tickets, they advised us their system showed false availability. We were fighting with them and going back and forth to try to get your tickets issued with no success. That is when [redacted] looked for alternative options to offer. However, we were not successful confirming the price and seats with them. That is when we felt we need to refund your money. We are truly sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. I do see you purchased from us before and glad we were able to help at that time. I want to provide you a code for $500 OFF toward your next purchase if you decide to give us another try. ( [redacted] $500 ). We wish you safe travels and hope we can assist in the future.

I do not accept this response. This company is placing the blame instead of taking responsibility for a product/service they are selling. This problem seems to happen often. I see that I am not the only one this has happened too. With so many others who have spoken up, I would assume there are many others who have not. People need to be aware that it seems the business model for this company is to take peoples money, hold it for weeks before providing the product that the consumer has purchased. Resolution to the problem they created would be to provide the tickets that were purchased. The voucher that was offered is an attempt to scam people out of more money. I would never provide a nickel to this company ever again. Anyone else looking at using this company needs to be aware that they are con artists and not to deal with them. It will only be waste of time and money.

Mr. [redacted],
My name is [redacted] Stein. I'm the Co-Founder and CFO at Wholesale Flights Inc. I wanted to personally apologize for any inconvenience the delayed ticketing has caused. Our Consolidator has been backed up this last week with...

thousands of orders from us and other agencies. We have been pushing them hard to issue your tickets. Please understand the actual ticketing happens by a third party company, and is out of our control of how long they take. They're re promising to get everything issued ASAP. We are NOT crooks and a very honest company with a primary focus on customer satisfaction and savings to all our clients. If the tickets do not get issued by the end of today, I can offer you a full refund and a voucher for your future travel. Again, my sincere apologies in this matter. [redacted] has done nothing wrong here and has been waiting for them to issue your tickets. If you need to contact me direct you may also email [redacted]@wholesaleflights.com

The resolution stated by the company on Jan. 4, 2016, is not quite correct. On Jan. 5, the company and I reached agreement that I would drop the Revdex.com complaint, and the associated small claims court case, for a total to be immediately paid to me (via a credit to my credit card) of $3319.50.

AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND WHOLESALE FLIGHTS, INC.

Contact us immediately in writing if any information on your confirmation itinerary is incomplete or incorrect. To the extent the applicable Supplier's rules permit, we will do our best to correct any inaccuracies, but you will be charged at least $100.00 USD change fee per ticket, and will be solely responsible for any other fees the Supplier may impose, except where we made the mistake and you contacted us immediately to notify us of the mistake.

Suppliers typically permit cancellations and modifications up to 72 hours from time of departure; therefore, to the extent possible, you must submit to us all change requests in writing at least 72 hours before departure. If a modification or cancellation is permitted, you will be responsible for any applicable fees charged by the Supplier(s) upon cancellation or modification, which could be at least $250.00 USD per ticket, as well as the fare difference in the case of modifications. Fees will vary depending on the applicable Supplier's terms and conditions, and these fees must be collected by us prior to processing any change to your ticket(s). You will not receive a monetary refund when canceling or modifying your ticket(s). Instead, to the extent permitted by the applicable Supplier(s), you will receive a credit (less any fees imposed by the Supplier(s)) towards a future ticket purchase, which will be valid for up to twelve (12) months from your original date of purchase. You agree to be responsible for any and all applicable fees, fare differences, and/or taxes associated with modifying and/or cancelling travel services or products purchased from us or through us. You permit WholeSale to charge the credit / debit card you provided to us for the payment of penalties arising from your failure to comply with any Supplier's rules.
The total price is based on the total price per person. For more than one passenger, the total price per person is the total price for all passengers [redacted] by the total amount of passengers. Any additional fees subsequently charged by the air carrier (baggage fees, upgrade fees, special needs etc.) are between you and the airline and are not the responsibility of WholeSale. WholeSale is not liable for the notification or reimbursement of any these additional fees charged by the air carrier to you.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2015/05/11) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The reason we are not yet ready to accept the response from Wholesale Flights is that it is a yet indeterminate amount.
It appears that the proposed solution consists of one of two options: 1. full refund of all charges other than airfare or 2. up to 50% of original ticket price.
Concerning option 1, on May 7, the agent for Wholesale Flights Inc. informed us that the charges excluding airfare were a total of $1,444.00. These charges were made up of $180.00 + $180.00 + $585.00 + $227.00 + $272.00.
Concerning option 2, on May 7, the agnt for Wholesale Flights Inc, informed us that the purchase price was $5,995.30. 50% of the purchase is, according to the agent's price, is $2,997.65.
Thus we can see the proposed solution ranges from $1,444.00 to $2,997.65. We would accept the resolution #2, being 50% of ticket purchase price being $2,997.65.
We hereby ask Wholesale Flyers to refund to our American Express card $2,997.65. Once we have been informed by American Express that this amount has been refunded to our account, we will inform American Express, Revdex.com and Wholesale Flights that our complaint has been resolved.
We will look for Wholesale Flights Inc's response to the above through this website.
We will keep the Revdex.com informed of when we see our American Express account reflect the requested refund.
