We INFORMED her that it would take from THREE to FOUR months to receive the order from CHINA. We also INFORMED the customer that due to the third month coinciding with the Lunar New Year celebrations starting from 02/19/for about weeks, productivity in China would be slow. However, we do still follwith the manufacturer in China to try to get the merchandise as soon as possible. The rest is out of our control. At that time, the customer stated that she UNDERSTOOD and that she is okay with the time estimate of to months. Unfortunately, due to the Los Angeles and Long Beach Ports Disputes that started around November 2014, many shipping containers were backlogged for many months and we were NOT able to pickup our merchandise until around Mid-April 2015. As many people were already aware, this situation was completely out of our control. When we went to pickup the merchandise, we discovered that the CUSTOM MADE shutters and blinds were damaged. We TRIED explaining the situation to the customer, but she REFUSED to listen and DEMANDED that we REFUND her the money. We explained to her that normally the manufacturer will NOT issue a refund once it has already been shipped. Eventhough it was NOT the manufacturer's fault or any fault of our own, we still tried to work with the customer to come to an amicable solution. We INFORMED the customer that the manufacturer has agreed to re-make the merchandise and they will give her a 10% discount from her deposit of $2600.00. The customer REFUSED and DEMANDED a FULL REFUND. After many calls to the manufacturer on the buyer's behalf, the manufacturer stated that they will issue the refund, but it would take about to weeks for the funds to be credited back to our account. The customer came out to our store and SIGNED the INVOICE stating that when we receive the funds from the manufacturer in about to weeks, we will then issue her a refund check. She agreed and SIGNED the INVOICE. Yet she still reported us to the Revdex.com, which is really unfortunate for us since we did everything possible to please her Please note that the customer also SIGNED a CONTRACT ("TERM/LIMIT LIFETIME WARRANTY") with us. In that CONTRACT, it clearly stated that, "Wholesales Shutters & Blinds has given buyer its best estimate of the delivery time for this order, but factory production, schedules changes without notice. Therefore, delivery time is an estimate and does NOT obligate us." The CONTRACT is attached for you to review Please note that we also did business with the customer's father and he was pleased with our work and referred the customer to us. Most of our business is based on referral only. As you can see, we are doing everything possible to please the customer, eventhough the customer SIGNED the CONTRACT agreeing to the terms of the CONTRACT Sincerely, *** ***

Review: My wife and I came in the stores and ordered the shutters for our entire house approximately in July 2015. We deposited $1,700 with an agreement that it might take 6 weeks for the shutters to arrive. We have been waiting until now and keep receiving promises that they would come soon. However, nothing happened. Last week I called again and found out that all phone numbers have been disconnected. We went to the store and nothing was there including the entire warehouse, sample, and front office. We're at loss now and don't know what to do.Desired Settlement: Please anyone contacts us or tells us what to do in this case and how to retrieve our $1,700 deposit back?

Review: I paid the above company $2600 on 11/20/2014.On the contract, invoice it said that I will get my shutters installed in my house by Feb 20 2015. I did call him 6 times to remind him, the owner made couples excuses like because of the Chinese new year on Feb 19 2015 it will be delayed and in March I called him again couple of times he kept saying it will be on the way and in April I called him again he said because the people at the Long Beach harbor on the strike so that no merchandises will release from the port. Finally I told him that based on the contract I want to get my money back. As of 4/16/2015 he said that I have to wait from 4-6 weeks in order to get my refund check. I do not trust him any more with the whole situation and I doubt that I will get my check on time like he said.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my money refund within 7 business day instead of 4-6 weeks
