Good Afternoon Mr. & Mrs. [redacted], First I need to apologize about not being able to respond to this Revdex.com complaint in a reasonable amount of time. apology.I would like to start off by saying that when one of our sales personal sells an appliance, they do not have any idea of what the customer's house plumbing is like. Unfortunately sometimes the house plumbing is not up to the specifications for the new appliance to be installed. When we sent out our installer on September 30, 2017 to install the dishwasher, he installed the unit to your original house  plumbing as it was which caused problems. The plumbing needed to be updated and our installer should have caught that and advised you right away. I apologize about that as well. We have since stopped installing dishwashers that have house plumbing that runs down into the basement until the plumbing has been modified. As far as the charges that you have disputed, I believe that this has already been taken care of for you. You had paid for the original installation price of $139.95 and a $20 removal fee. We sent a technician to check out why the dishwasher was not draining and it was determined that it was our installation issue, that was free of charge. The unit was installed but the home needed the plumbing updated. You were quoted only for the additional plumbing modifications that needed to be done to your home plumbing. Normally that is 100% the customers responsibility to pay for, however as an accommodation we covered those charges that would have amounted to the total of $376.51. Our plumber did bring the house plumbing up to specs at no charge so now you will never have a problem installing another dishwasher in your home. I apologize for the length of time that it took to get everything taken care of for you on this. To my understanding a lot of that was due to the charges being worked out and disputed and manager and owner calls being requested. Again I apologize for any inconvenience on our behalf and I do hope that you have been satisfied with the outcome of the situation. If you need anything else in the future please feel free to reach out to me.Sincerely,[redacted]Owner & President Wickford Appliance & Lighting
