We installed an engine that this customer supplied to us on 5/12/16. We have seen this vehicle several times after the installation of the engine for other repairs not related to the engine installation. We have also done repair work on other vehicles for this customer. When he
first started using our services he wanted to bring his own parts in for us to install which we were fine with. We have had many customers bring their own parts in for us to install but it increasingly became a problemCustomers would purchase wrong parts or defective parts so we decided to no longer install customer supplied parts. We made these customers aware of our new policy including ***. We did a brake job for *** on 11/21/in which he complained about the prices of the parts. We are well aware that many people shop online for inexpensive parts. Our prices are obviously more expensive than online because we have to provide a warranty on the parts and our labor. At the time of the brake job we told *** he needed new tires. He bought the tires somewhere else and wanted us to install for him which we did even though we said we would not install customer supplied parts. We mounted, balanced and installed his tires at no charge. On 12/6/*** brought his car in for a transmission fluid leak. We checked his car over, diagnosed the problem and let him know what the issue was. This was also done at no charge. We decided we would not repair the vehicle because he continually has a problem with the price he is charged at our shop. In his complaint he accuses us of wrecking the lines in the engine install. As stated before we have seen this car several times after the engine install and he never complained about having any issues. It has been over months since the engine install with no complaints and no mention of transmission fluid leaking. Again we have seen *** and this vehicle and other vehicles of his over the past months with no mention of a problem. Since *** does not like the prices we charge we felt it was in both of our best interests to terminate the relationship
