Response: The BMW in question was brought to us on a trailer after being crashed and having oil leak issues that had apparently happened some time before bringing in for repairThe customer wanted us to address the oil leaks and only the oil leaks and nothing was ever said about any engine running
issuesWe cleaned the unit, then started the unit up to locate the oil leaks and were found to be the side covers that were damaged from the crashWe estimated the repairs to the customer and he said to proceed with repairsAfter replacing the covers and gaskets as needed, we started the BMW and ran the unit until it got to operating temperature and did so timesAt that time we contacted the customer and let him know that the unit was complete and the total bill was $Customer came to pick up unit and drove the unit away from our shopShortly after leaving, customer called and said it was leaking oil again and needed to return the unitWe accepted the unit and found a different location that it was leaking fromWe repaired at no cost to client and called to let him know it was completeCustomer then asks if the unit was running correctly and I told him that the oil leaks were fixed properly as we were told to fixHe stated the work that we did had caused the unit to run improperly but the work that we did had nothing to do with the engine running, it was just cosmetic repairs from the crash
