Widmayer's L.A.S. Contracting

Lloyd Wi[redacted]r is an unprofessional, inexperienced thief. He basically stole $7,000 from me because he was paid for services that he did not complete. He was contracted to do work around my house: re-paint windows and trim them with tin, fix the roof on the back of my house, and to re-build the roof on my front porch. I paid him $7,000 up front, which I now regret. He was in jail at the time when he was suppose to start so he sent two boys under the age of 18 to begin the work. They were horrible, immature, and inexperienced. They left my windows looking horrendous with half scraped paint on most of them and no tin on any. The ones that were painted, they had painted on the window panes as well and left it. They then took off the porch roof and left it like that. They didn't come back for a month. I finally called Lloyd and threatened to get my lawyer involved if he did not come finish the work. He showed up a week later to finish the porch roof. He did not lag it into the house or anchor it to the house at all. All the materials he used are not up to code. I fear for the safety of myself and my family every time we walk out the front door. Not to mention, the roof leaks. I called him to tell him I was unhappy and he immediately got defensive and angry. He began to curse at me and tell me that the roof was a "temporary" structure and he was coming back to put the "real" roof up. This is a lie. I told him that I did not want him back until the code officer came to inspect it. That really set him off. He came to my house and got his work truck and left. I haven't seen him since. I am now looking into legal options to stop this man and to get my money back. I want to warn as many people as I can about L.A.S. Contracting so that they cannot do this to anyone else!
