I have talked to the customer and apologized for the situation that occurred I have also agreed to a refund [redacted]

As a business owner I believe in honesty and integrity The facts are when my tech came to give an estimate to clean the tile, Mr [redacted] didn't want to have it cleaned because of the price However, Mrs [redacted] insisted on having it cleaned The tech took pictures of the cleaning knowing there was going to be a problem As you can see in the attachment the pictures show the cleaning difference The tile after cleaning at the top of the picture and the area not cleaned at the lower partWhen it came time to collect payment Mr [redacted] refused to pay claiming it didn't look clean and the grout lines were dark in some areas The tech told him that it was because some areas haven't dried yet The tech told him that he would wait till Monday to come out and collect payment and re-clean any areas if needed Monday, after my manager contacted Mrs***, she said they re-cleaned it themselves and were not going to pay I called Mrs [redacted] Tuesday and told her that I looked at the pictures and it clearly showed that the tile was clean I told her if I didn't receive payment, I would send her to collections She said she would pay, but wanted an adjustment I asked her what was fair and she said she didn't know I asked her "what if I give an additional 20% off and she asked what that came out to I told her $and she said that was ok My manager picked up the check the next day

Carol the store manager reached out to customer last week and told him to bring the shirt in and she will have him fill out a claim form and we would take care of it We are still waiting for him to come inJack [redacted]

The shirt had no damage when I brought It to the store Why would I clean a shirt that can't be worn?

3/30/2017, Shirt came in damaged Our policy is to call the customer, but we didn't since the counter person was fairly new We went ahead and cleaned it and offer customer free shirt cleanings He also stopped payment on the order for $He said he wasn't aware of the damage I will have store manager call customer and see what needs to be done to solve the issue

*** ***P.SI'm willing to except Widmer's latest offer, Only because I think it's only fair because their tech worked 1/hrsand my wife and I worked 1/to hrs. But I don't agree with what was saidFirst I signed a contract and I fully agreed to pay said amount $And I'm tired of hearing that I didn't want to pay! But I did not receive the service that I was being chargedWe had a messed up kitchen with all the kitchen, Entrance foyer and hallway furniture in two different rooms that we moved and this was on a Saturday so what were we supposed to do until Monday or Tuesday? That's why we did it ourselves and finished the jobAnd yes the over spry was on the leather chair and appliances . The pictures, Well if you think cell phone pictures shows everything, Try looking at some real estate listings and than go see them in person, surprise !!!

Our store manager was the staff member who received the order which included this shirt when the customer dropped off. She noticed that the shirt had a hole in it and marked it "received damaged" per our policy before she sent it for cleaning.I did suggest to her that in the future she should
reach out to the customer before sending the item to confirm that the customer is aware of the damage and to verify that the customer would still like it cleaned.Although we stand by our work and compensate our customers when damage is caused due to our handling of an item, this was not the case in this situation.We would be happy to clean five shirts free for our customer since he was not alerted to the issue before cleaning

The customer didn't give us a chance to look at the tile or any other issues The over spray wasn't mentioned originally It wasn't brought up until I told them we had pictures of the tile The pictures show the truth We will agree to give the customer $back, since we already took off $from the original bill The original bill was $and half of that is $ We will send a check for $to the customer Widmer's has been in business for years and even won the Torch Award from the Revdex.com in Our integrity is important to us We feel we have done nothing wrong and it came down to the customer not wanting to pay from the very beginning

We are sorry that our customer is disappointed with the way her husband's shirt looks after cleaning.As a professional dry cleaner we are required to follow the care instructions recommended by the manufacturer. The customer states that this is the first time the shirt was cleaned and she
objects to the faded look it now has. We followed the care label and therefore any fading that has occurred is a result of the way the shirt was manufactured. In our experience, there are some styles that are made by several different brands that are meant to fade with each cleaning. There are also circumstances where dyes in garments do not hold up to the recommended care method. In either case the fading which our customer feels has ruined the shirt is not a result of mishandling the garment on our part.As a courtesy, we have not charged the customer for our cleaning service and we have offered to reach out to the retailer of the shirt on her behalf to make them aware of the method we used to clean the garment and her dissatisfaction with the result. Although our processing was not at fault, we stand behind our work and will do our part to help her acquire reimbursement from the retailer/manufacturer because she is unhappy with the product she purchased from them
