I have an Illinois Buyers Guide signed by [redacted] M. [redacted] stating that the vehicle is being sold in as is condition with no warranty. She asked for the lowest priced car that was usable. The vehicle had approximately 122K miles at the time of...

sale. I remember pointing out that the valve cover gaskets may need changed because you could detect some oil residue around them. The vehicle had decent tires and cold a/c and drove/ran well. I never heard from [redacted] M. [redacted] until well over a year from the sale date. She told me the vehicle was not running right after warming up, but if you let it set it would run alright until warming up again. It sounded to me like a sensor was breaking down after warming up. I researched and changed the ignition coil at my own expense even though she had driven the car well over ten thousand miles. I told her if that didn't help it let me know. She did not contact me after that until I received a letter from the Revdex.com. She purchased the vehicle as is for a thousand dollars. It ran and drove good at the time of purchase. All the minor repairs she has had to deal with are common to any use vehicle. None of the repairs were internal repairs to the engine or transmission. The car has driven well over ten thousand miles and will most likely continue to be very useful in the future if proper maintenance and minor repairs are done when needed. I am sorry that the customer has had any repairs to deal with, but I am happy to see that none of the repairs are major repairs to the motor or transmission. These minors repairs are part of owning a used vehicle.
