I purchased a mandolin food slicer from Sharper ImageWhen I got home with the product and went to use it, I discovered the piece that protects the user from getting cut was missingAfter reaching out to Sharper Image customer service (9/**/16), I was directed to their manufacturer Mystic Apparel- a division of WiesnerThe customer service person for Mystic quickly responded and stated that the piece could be sent outI just need to provide my mailing address and proof of purchaseI quickly did that and nothing ever arrivedEach time I have followed up I am asked for my mailing address and proof of purchaseThere is absolutely zero follow up on their endIt's beginning to sound like a scam businessSurely no employee could be that incompetent
