This vehicle has passed through so many hands since we had possession of the vehicle, couldn't it be entirely possible someone else who had care and custody of this vehicle lost or misplaced this FOB?? How can she be 100% sure that the two other companies didn't lose the key????THE CUSTOMER IS MAKING ONLY AN ASSUMPTION THAT WE LOST THE KEY!!!! Furthermore, the customer has taken to a [redacted] review and LIED saying the employee rummaged through her car, the car was LOCKED!!!!!We maintain our position that the key FOB was left INSIDE the vehicle and it LEFT with the vehicle

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below

This Customers vehicle was towed on 2/12/2015 for an [redacted] which is a mandatory 30 day hold for either DUI or Licensing issue.  3511 Holds are generally a breech in contract for Lien holders/financial institutions which is why [redacted] Repossessed the vehicle on 2/24/2015. Our...

westside lot in El Mirage is managed by [redacted], and she did not hear from the owner until mid March when the owner called to ask where the key FOB was. [redacted] indicated to her that there was no key FOB logged in the office, which typically mean the FOB is left in the console. Just to make sure, she contacted the driver.  The driver indicated he left the FOB in the console of the vehicle. SPD officer verified the driver took the FOB as well. When the vehicle was towed, the FOB went with it.Asked the vehicle owner if [redacted] has been contacted to look for the FOB, as they were the last ones to see the vehicle, she states that the vehicle is now at [redacted] Auto Auction in Tolleson and they would NOT let her in to look for it.[redacted] made a spare FOB because her car was going up for auction and needed a key to start it, they subsequently charged her for it. This infuriated the owner to the point of harassing [redacted] with phone calls at least 10 per day. [redacted] asked if she had the second FOB that came with the car, she said she didn't. So, [redacted] decided to call the [redacted] / Repo company to find out about the FOB; But they never responded back to her. [redacted], again mentioned to the owner, that she should contact the Repo. Company and ask for a supervisor, she refused.Vehicle owner threatened [redacted] over the phone saying she was coming up here with her friend to " handle" the situation. [redacted] was instructed by me to have [redacted] arrive to ensure things didn't get violent or out of control. Both the owner AND PD arrived;  The officer told the owner that there is nothing he can do and she should not be there;  she needed to stop yelling and to leave property immediately because she was trespassing. If there was a real issue she could seek legal counsel or file a small claims suit. She left.A few days later she places this complaint and a horrible [redacted] review in which she fabricates the entire story and the facts surrounding what really happened. It is an incredible waste of time and effort all for a FOB that was left inside the vehicle.
