Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/05/08) */
Ms. [redacted] damaged our clients insured vehicle while using a motorized shopping cart at SAMS Club. The incident was witnessed. The police were called by the insured and not Ms. [redacted]. Ms. [redacted] insurance carrier will not provide coverage for...

her as she was not operating a car. The attorney information provided by Ms. [redacted] was false. The phone number was disconnected. The "attorney" she named was not located and was not found in the GA Attorney Bar Association Directory.
We have closed our file and returned it to our client.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/05/11) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I was the one who called the police and the person that owned the car was witness. No one else witnessed this so called accident. I've sent them a certified letter asking them to call my lawyer and not my cell phone. I have included his name and phone number and I've told them the number. I would suggest they call the law firm and talk to them. I have a copy of the police report which did not charge me and said there was no evidence that I had hit the car. They have harassed me and called my cell phone after repeated requests to call my lawyer.

Wilber & Associates, PC represents [redacted] Ms. [redacted] was involved in an automobile accident that occurred 11/24/15 in Austin, TX. The loss resulted in $7,7335.73 in damages to our client's insured vehicle. The accident was witnessed and...

photographs were taken at the scene. I will arrange to have documents sent to Ms. [redacted]. I encourage her to contact our office with her liability insurance information.

I am rejecting this response because:This company has been nothing but problems and rudeness. We received 1 day from their first letter before they sent an order for suspension on my wife and I's drivers licenses. Now even after jumping through hoops to avoid losing my job because of their blatant disregard for the way they are supposed to handle business they sent my installment agreement to someone else and sent theirs to me. This place should no longer be allowed to conduct business of this matter in any way. I do not accept them blowing it off. I want some type of reimbursement from these people for the crazy amount of trouble and downright rude and ignorant people they have employed there and not following debt collecting procedures the way they are supposed to.

Wilber & Associates represents State Farm Insurance for a subrogation tort claim for an automobile accident  that occurred 9/23/16 in Bartow, FL. The driver of an uninsured vehicle owned by Ms. [redacted] backed out of a driveway and struck and damaged our client's insured's vehicle that...

had the right of way. I will arrange to have documentation of the repairs to Ms. [redacted] as she has requested.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/06/15) */
Wilber & Associates, PC is a law firm in Normal, IL with the primary practice of providing subrogation and recovery services to the insurance and rental car industries. We are not a credit reporting agency. We handle tort recovery claims....

Our client, Avis Car Rental, retained us to pursue recovery of damages owed to them by Mr. [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] contacted our office on 06/14/2016 to discuss this matter, at which time he provided information to our office to help further the claim. The conversation was very professional. None of the assertions made in Mr. [redacted]'s complaint took place during the call that I reviewed. At no time did Mr. [redacted] request documentation regarding the claim. That said, upon receiving this complaint, our office has forwarded out all supporting documentation available to validate this claim for Mr. [redacted]. He is welcome to contact our office should he have any questions or concerns upon review of said documentation.
Our office appreciates the opportunity to respond to Mr. [redacted]'s complaint. Please feel free to contact me if I can be of further assistance in this matter.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/11/30) */
Our law firm represents Safeco Insurance pertaining to an auto accident that occurred 7/27/15 in Salina, KS. Ms. [redacted] did not carry liability insurance on her vehicle as required by law. Our client paid for the damages to their insured...

vehicle in the amount of $738.85. Ms. [redacted] is obligated to refund them for the damages. We have attempted to work with her regarding payments but the one that was made was declined by the bank.
Our office is not open at 10PM and no calls have been made to her at that hour.

This claim has been closed in our office and returned to [redacted].

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/10/14) */
Ms. [redacted] has been provided with 3 installment agreements and a cover letter from our office. In order to prevent the State of TN from suspending her license she should have completed the form and filed it with the State of TN. The forms were...

mailed to her 6/9/16, 6/11/16, and 10/13/16. She was also notified by mail 9/12/16 the her license had been suspended and she still took no action. Please notes that all mailings were sent to the same address as on this complaint.
The reinstatement fees and SR22 insurance requirements are mandated by the State of TN and our office does not have the ability to waive them.

Our subrogation claim has been referred back to Erie Insurance for their follow up.

My apologies, Mr. Ashley, the accident occurred in Tamp, FL. Your insurance company has all of the information on the loss and I am sure they will provide it to you. In the meantime, our office will send you documentation.

All of our telephone calls are recorded and audited. Our subrogation specialists have extensive training and this is not the manner in which we operate. Again, I encourage Ms. [redacted] to contact our office between the hours of 8AM - 8PM and ask to speak with a manager.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/05/08) */
Our office received the vehicle transfer documents from Mr. [redacted] and he was removed as owner of the vehicle from the claim. A confirmation letter will be mailed to him.

I would like to thank Revdex.com for their quick action in resolving this issue. I accept the company response as long as my name is removed from the claim.

I have reviewed the claim in it's entirety. Our client did make additional payments on the claim and they also received a salvage recovery. There is still an additional 109.00 due. Ms. [redacted] made regular payments and paid a total of $4364.18. I am authorized to waive the charge of 109.00 to close...

our file at this time.

Mr. [redacted]'s vehicle was identified in a vehicle accident that occurred 12/7/15 in Carrollton, TX. Documentation was provided to our office showing that he had sold the vehicle 9/1/15 and the new owner had failed to register it in his name. Mr....

[redacted] was from removed from the insurance claim on 3/20/16 and the Department of Motor Vehicles was notified.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/03/23) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I will accept response after I receive something in writing. An email would be sufficient.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2016/03/24) */
Documents were send to Mr. [redacted] 4/21/16 via USPS.

I am rejecting this response because:We did not come to a resolution because Your company is saying I need to pay $500 down and threatening to take my license away so a solution would be to take what I can afford of $100 a month and provide me the paperwork to keep my license.

As Ms. Rendon has asked for no more contact from our office she has been removed from our claim. She may contact [redacted] with any future inquiries.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/10/25) */
Wilber & Associates represents [redacted] Insurance as a result of an auto accident that occurred in May 2016. The facts as Ms. [redacted] have stated are incorrect. I have reviewed the file history and Ms. [redacted] and the driver of her vehicle did contact...

our office in May and June several times. A manger spoke with them on 2 occasions. They were both aware the State of WA would take action as a result of the fact they did not carry mandatory liability insurance. They did not contact us again until October 2016 when that action was taken. They did make a down payment of $1000.00 which was credited to the balance October 7, 2016. The installment agreements have been sent to both of them. They will need to process them with the State of WA. Ms. [redacted] complaint is inaccurate.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2016/10/26) */
We finally received a notation on the account after being hung up on four times yet they refuse to scan us our documents without a 50$ email fee. I feel this should be waived as it was this companies responsibility to send out documents upon receipt of Payment. We run the risk of not receiving the documents in time to avoid suspension of licenses due to this major clerical error on their end.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/06/03) */
Wilber & Associates is a subrogation law firm specializing in tort claim recovery. We do not collect consumer debt. We are not a credit reporting agency. On 05/17/2015 we encountered an error with one of our vendors which caused letters to be...

sent in error on a series of closed files. The claim in question, XXXXXXX, was one of those files. While this originally was an active claim with Wilber Lane Law Firm, assigned to them by CNA, it was not an active or open claim with Wilber & Associates. We received the claim from Wilber Lane Law Firm in a closed status. We have issued a letter to [redacted], as well as [redacted], advising that our letter was sent in error. No further contact w/either party will be made by our office. [redacted] and/or [redacted] are encouraged to contact our office to discuss this claim, should they have any further questions or concerns. They may contact me directly at X-XXX-XXX-XXXX ext. 110. [redacted] Audit Manager, Wilber & Associates.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me if a letter is mailed to the State of Ohio BMV stating it was an error on their end so that my license can be VALID. I would like a letter mailed to me as well. I would like for it to be expedited and I should not be responsible for any expeditied charges like before. I want to be clear that all I would have to pay is the 281.12 before April 28 to have the installment plan back in effect and a letter sent to the State of Ohio BMV to make my License and registration valid.I would like a new person handling my account because I did not like the way Pam treated me and hung up on and talked over me.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/08/07) */
Our claim has been closed and returned to [redacted] Car Rental.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/08/09) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept that I have a debt to [redacted] Car...

Rental. If I did then in the last 3 years I would have received an invoice from [redacted], and responded to that company. I have not received an invoice and have lived at the same address during the whole time since 2013. [redacted] has my address as I have rented vehicles from them before and have always paid with a credit card.
Clearly the business harassing me is acting without authorization and should be stopped from attempting to extort US citizens under the laws of the US.
I will not be responding further to this business.
I thank the Revdex.com for your assistance.
