This matter has been resolved with the customer, by switching her into a different vehicle. We apologize for any inconvenience

The fuel pump we replaced was brand new, and under warranty from *** *** *** (see attachment). Yes, the fill tube to the tank had come off during reinstalling the fuel tank which houses the pump inside. We told the customer we would do this. The customer choose to take the
vehicle to their mechanic and have the vehicle worked on. When spea*** with the customer after he had the repair made, we agreed, we would pay him $toward the repair, which we did. The customer then filed a complaint with the Revdex.com demanding full payment. If the fuel pump was faulty, it would have been replaced under *** warranty and neither of us would have had to pay anything out of pocket, and our mechanic would have made the repair. Since the customer went to his mechanic after we agreed to make the repair (which we can not control), and we also agreed to make the $payment after his mechanic worked on the vehicle, we believe we have responded responsibly to this issue. We will not make any additional payments to the customer, as the pump would have been replaced under warranty if it was faulty and neither of us would have had to pay for it. The customers choice to go to his mechanic was his choice and not necessary.
