Review: By phone I ordered over $4000 in parts for a Bronco restoration. [redacted] at Wild Horses sent me a quote of $4446.66 and it included $84 in shipping. I reviewed the quote and then released him to charge my credit card and order the parts. I also asked him to send me a final receipt. He never sent the receipt so about I week later I called again and asked for the document. He emailed me a receipt that now shows the costs as $5250.38 in which $887.72 is shipping. This is an $803.72 increase in the cost. I immediately contacted [redacted] at Wild Horses and questioned the increase. He said that was shipping and he already shipped all parts accept two items and also told me my number was wrong and the shipping was less. After a few emails I proved that the shipping cost went up to the number I noted $887.72 and no one contacted me before shipping or to approve the extra cost. I never received a revised invoice before shipping either and I told him I would have cancelled the order given the misrepresentation in the cost. I also never authorized Wild Horses to charge my credit card this increased amount. I have emailed [redacted] several times since to work this out and there has been no response. I feel my next recourse is to decline delivery of what was ordered and/or dispute the credit card charge since the final cost was not disclosed. [redacted] also claimed he gave me a discount on all items ordered. I questioned him on this as well since he issued 10% on a few parts but the bulk of the order was at their regular sale price. I feel this sales associate is covering up his mistake of not communicating with me as the customer the changes in the order before shipping and charging my credit card.Desired Settlement: I would like to give Wild Horses a chance to address this issue since they misrepresented the cost to me and they should have contacted me before shipping. I feel the original quote should be honored since Wild Horses sent me a cost that I approved and it was their responsibility to notify me of a change. I have since checked with a competitor and confirmed I could get comparable products for several hundred dollars less and shipping at half the cost of Wild Horses.
