Customer's job was completedShe only wanted to pay for material and not the labor for the work, and that is not how we do businessWe have submitted her account to collections for the balance owing on the account for all completed work

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:My job was absolutely not completed and I have the photos and many witnesses to prove itThe yard was left in a mess with sand and bricks every whereNo gate was made and the patio was a quarter doneI also did not say I would not pay for laborThe problem with [redacted] is he talks and does not listen.Here is a breakdown of our final conversation when he told me he would take me to court [redacted] decided that his employees did not measure properly and they were short of materials, he also did not quote the correct amount for placing the drain.He told us we needed to pay $for extra patio materials and labor for laying the patioHe wanted $for placing the drain.We had already paid $at this point.I told [redacted] that we would pay the remaining balance on the bill which was $I also told him we would pay for the drain -$I told him I would pay for the materials but not extra labor as labor was already quoted in the original quote and I was not prepared to pay double for laborAt no time did I say I would not payI think we were being more than accommodating seeing as a day job was now reaching over months [redacted] has lied about completion of the job and I cannot see how he wants more money and is taking me to collections for a job that was never completedWe have had to hire a new contractor to finish the job and had to buy more materials to get the job finished [redacted] is a liar and a charlatan and if he threatens me with collections I will see him in courtPlease do not recommend this companyThey should be closed down him in small claims court Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Wild Irishman received several calls from [redacted] regarding a drainage issue they had at their property after we completed our landscaping services. Wild Irishman recommended on several occasions in which way they should address the...

drainage issue-There were several meetings with the builder during the time the landscape work was being done prior to the flooding in the basement they did not want to spend the extra money. [redacted] refused our recommendation. The grass issue was also addressed prior to installation under the pine tree, as it was advised that putting grass there, the success of the grass surviving due to the acidic soil it would not survive-this was also rejected.
Wild Irishman asked about the installation of the tree swing on several occasions and were told that they would let us know when purchased. In regards to the sprinkler issue Wild Irishman was never called regarding this issue. Wild Irishman did receive phone calls and a couple of voice mail messages however, it was only regarding the drainage issue. Due to the numerous meetings about the drainage and the consistent refusal of moving forward to take care of the drainage Wild Irishman did not feel it necessary to keep responding only to provide information again, and again with no results. [redacted] was given access to use Wild Irishman's account for a vendor to take care of the drainage problem himself if desired-we do not know if he did so. Again, the sprinkler issue was never discussed, or mentioned to Wild Irishman prior to this complaint. We will refund the $150.00 for the tree swing never installed. Wild Irishman can not be responsible for the sprinkler system-and we will not be responsible for another company doing work on the system. If Wild Irishman were given the opportunity to address the issue we would have taken care of it. We will refund for the tree swing only for $150.00

I have now read the response. Wild Irishman never responded to our calls regarding the grass that died. The grass died throughout the entire front yard as the sprinkler system was broken. We have record of emails and phone calls. Unfortunately they do not respond once they receive their payment in full. Also, with regard to the swing, we have not received a check for the refund. They can write as long of a response as they would like. I hired them due to their status on the Revdex.com and I hope the Revdex.com looks further into other reviews on this company in order to ensure other consumers do not face the pain that we have faced.

The sprinkler was repaired and tested. We had to connect the drip system that was not connected the Fall of 2014 due to the customer rejecting any plant material. In the Spring of 2015 we set the customers controller for the proper watering schedule for the [redacted] tested, satisfactory. We installed the [redacted] but our company does not do the maintenance on this property. We guaranteed a thick green healthy lawn, and that is what we provided. The grass that dies is around her 80' [redacted] which we recommended doing landscape instead of grass due to the high acidity that, that trees needles have on the soil, she rejected our recommendation. As an oversite we did not install the swing, and will credit her the $150.00 for the service that was not provided. We are trying to make an amicable situation here, and hope this solves this issue so we can both move on.

Thank you for the response as it has been impossible to get a response until we contacted the Revdex.com. I would simply like credit to be given where credit is due. We ask the Revdex.com to strongly review the rating of this company and also consider that we only hired them based on the Revdex.com rating at the time. Please do not let other consumers fall victim to the poor follow up in customer service that we have experienced. There a plenty of companies out there going a above and beyond to provide good service and that is why we turn to the Revdex.com for the proper information as a consumer. This is my final comment on this matter.

Our project manager was on site, and went over the concerns.  We had weather delays and made  effort to communicate  our delays to [redacted].  We corrected all the problems on property.  The one remaining piece was to install sod.  [redacted] agreed to...

a settlement of 100.00 which was mailed to [redacted].   When I last talked to [redacted] I told him to call me in couple days if he did not receive the check.  No phone call was placed to Wild Irishman.  The customer was going to install his own apron connected to the pillars that we installed.  We had a change order to install this portion, but it was rejected.   We are not responsible for this part of the project, because it was outside the scope of our contract. Wild Irishman feels that it has did everything requested and corrected all concerns of the Client.

I also told him we would pay for the drain -$1500. I told him I would pay for the materials but not extra labor as labor was already quoted in the original quote and I was not prepared to pay double for labor. At no time did I say I would not pay. I think we were being more than accommodating seeing as a 2 day job was now reaching over 2 months. [redacted] has lied about completion of the job and I cannot see how he wants more money and is taking me to collections for a job that was never completed. We have had to hire a new contractor to finish the job and had to buy more materials to get the job finished. [redacted] is a liar and a charlatan and if he threatens me with collections I will see him in court. Please do not recommend this company. They should be closed down     him in small claims court.
