Damage was done to my flagstone patio when they ran the grinding machine through it to get to the stump after they removed to tree. The grinder was turned on through the patio. Which caused some of the stones to come loose and caused cracks to appear/. When I brought it to their attention the next day they came with a tube of mortar fix...that now looks like an unsightly patch job. When I called *** to express my dissatisfaction with the damage and patch job he became irate, raised his voice at me and tried to make it sound like it was my fault, it was very upsetting. When I hired him he assured me they were bonded/insured and would cover any damage done to my property. *** has an abusive attitude and I would not recommend this company to anyone.
I listened back to the recorded phone call on this matter. initial we drove the stump grinder through the only gate access there was. The clients Husband was present from start to finish. We asked permission to drive threw to get to the back of the property Even though there was only one entrance. *** was in the front yard Yelling at roofing contactor for not writing out a false claim to her insurance company as the gentle men apologized but refused to "put his company in jeep" and she continued to yell at him. Her husband waved us back there and said it was ok to drive to grinder back to do the work they had scheduled. Work was done husband thanked us and told us we did a good job. The entire patio was thin layer of rock and had several cracks from front to back. Her husband notice 1 piece of stone approx. 3x3 inch that came loose and said not to worry about it. *** called the next day upset and I told her id send some right over. we filled it with cement mortar bottom and sides. she was upset that the color didn't match and it looked cheap. we informed her that the color wouldn't match as one is new an the rest is old with aged cement and dirt. she called me the next day and asked me to get a professional company out to do a good job. I tried to tell her we called 4 companies and no one would go out for such a small repair. they also informed us that what we did is exactly what they would do. she didn't want to hear me out then started cursing saying we didn't know how to run the machine and that we broke it with the blade. I told her that the flag stone was cracked through the entire spot and I didn't appreciate the cursing or the slight on our skills. I told the blade didn't touch the stone. we drove over it and it cracked the machine weighs 400lbs which should not break the stone. she cursed me out then said she was calling the Revdex.com and hung up. We are more then happy to return money for the flagstone and or if she hires some that can fix that one piece to her liking we would pay for that to.
