Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint The response provided by All about Flooring does not fall within any of the acceptable outcomes listed in my complaint Payment was made under duress (threat of unwarranted legal action by all about flooring) Incidentally, when I provided my credit card information over the phone, my card was overcharged If I had not been so diligent as to immediately check my account, the overpayment would have gone through Regards, D [redacted] P [redacted]

RevDex.com:Our salesperson took off a disputed charge of $ Before he could hit “save” on his computer, he was called away by another customer. Our receptionist, H***, finished the transaction in the credit card terminal but when she pulled it up in her computer, the change had not been saved and therefore did not show up. She put the charge through based on the total she was seeing on her screenWe were made aware of the mistake within minutes and I spoke with MrP*** myself and explained the situation and refunded the amount in question. After I refunded the amount in question to Mr P***’s satisfaction and apologized, MrP*** told me that he had told his bank that it was a fraudulent charge At that point then according to his bank, he had refused to pay the balance, and he had accepted a refund that was really not due him based on the circumstances of his statement of “fraudulent charge”. He did in fact let the charge go through, and the balance was paid, and he had signed a statement on the work order saying that “The work listed on this order has been done to customer’s satisfaction”

I’m not quite sure what to say at this point. These pictures are not time stamped and we were sent many of these pictures before the installer returned (several times) to address them. In several of them you can still see quite a bit of construction dust and would show that the picture was taken during or immediately after the remodelMrP*** signed and dated a statement that “The work listed on this work order has been done to customer’s satisfaction.” He signed this and dated the paperwork on November Since he put in writing that he was satisfied with the job, we have completed our obligation to him.As a side note, I went through the customer folder and read the notes in detail. While doing so, I discovered that MrP*** had in fact not been charged for the sq ft of LVT installation. You will see the material on line (2) of the invoice and you will see that on the LABOR portion of the invoice, there is not installation for itThe only labor that MrP*** was charged for was for the ceramic tile and the toilet removal. Please let me know if you have any further questions.Thank you,B***P.SThe name on the invoice is L*** M***, MrP***’s fiancé

Our installer, B*** Z***, visited the site several times at MrP*** request, the last of which was on 11-13-17, Nr , P*** singed and dated his approval and we have since adjusted the final invoice and collected the amount owed us. Thanks! J*** K***

The amount of the charge was in fact corrected, but only after I complained about it.  The proposed resolution of this complaint still does not fall within the acceptable responses outlined.  The floor has still not been installed per the specifications detailed by the manufacturer. nor have any of the alternate resolutions been reached.  I am still stuck with an improperly installed floor.

The response provided by All about Flooring does not fall within any of the acceptable outcomes listed in my complaint.  Payment was made under duress (threat of unwarranted legal action by all about flooring).  Incidentally, when I provided my credit card information over the phone, my card was overcharged.  If I had not been so diligent as to immediately check my account, the overpayment would have gone through.
