Good Afternoon, in response to this complaint it is unfortunate that the client was compelled to file a complaint against Wild Rose Travel as I provided the best service possible. Travel Agents do not have the power to control schedule changes imposed by the airlines/Tour Operators as they
happen often and are completely out of our controlAs soon as I received the notice that the return flight would make a stop in Calgary ( not a change of aircraft ) I advised all passengers affected by this with the following email which I have copied and pasted for you to read
Good afternoon everyone, I know that the Edmonton schedule change on the return flight is upsetting as it was booked as a nonstop flight and now it goes via Calgary on the return I did send an email to *** Group Department and have copied and pasted their reply belowI will be sending an email to the *** Sales Rep as well to see if there is anything that they can offer
Unfortunately airlines do reserve the right to make changes. I have seen this happen in the past and only if there is a date change do we normally see compensation given with chartered airlines. It is beyond my control as that is the only flight that *** flies that day back to Edmonton

There is no compensation for a flight reroute or time change. As we are a chartered aircraft flight times/routes/dates are subject to change with or without notice as per our terms and conditions
This email below was another one I received when I once again asked *** if there is anything they can offer these clients

We are a chartered airline and flight times and routings are subject to change at any timeWe apologize for inconveniences caused by the changes however they do happen from time to time and many different factors play key roles in schedule changes
As noted the flight is now via YYC on the return flight only. This is a quick stop to both pick up passengersWe understand that this can be challenging as it adds some time however these stops are very routine and our cabin crew do try their best to keep everyone moving quickly to avoid any disruption to the passengers moving on to the next gateway

I am rejecting this response because:we were originally going to book with [redacted]. You stated you could find a better deal for group travel with [redacted]. You did not inform anyone that we could get a stop added to our non stop flight. We paid for this and were not told that this could happen.We could of found a better deal /and much cheaper package but put our trust in the travel agent. Frankly, I will never use a travel agent again as there was no benefit to booking with a travel agent. If anything, you got us a worse deal then we could of got with [redacted]. What was the bonus/benefit to booking with you?so you could get money?
