I am rejecting this response because: The vehicle was scheduled for a nissan dealership on may 4th 2017. It had failed to go to the dealership for servicing. I was told it did go and I called the surrounding area Nissan service centers and not one seen my vehicle at all. I was taken advantage of. My vehicle was purchased on April 8th 2017. I had taken the vehicle to a Nissan service center in my local area. The vehicle underwent a diagnosis from a certified mechanic (attached file of diagnosis). Was told it had a throttle body issue and they would need replaced and the ECU would need flashed. The dealership I had purchased the vehicle from hired an outside mechanic to perform the work. Took 2 weeks to receive the parts. After parts were received and replaced. All that was left was the vehicle needed the ECU to be flashed. It has been a month now and my vehicle still has not been completed. I have been given the run around called and emailed multiple times with either no one present to speak with me or left a message and no response back. I have in writing that via email that the dealership would keep me up to date on vehicle progression. Dealership had failed to do so. I was told to contact the mechanic to be updated on the vehicle. Mechanic told me I should not contact him as I am not his client the dealership is and I should contact them with information. So after the mass run around finally settled communications. Then it became lack of communication once again failed emails and phone calls. I am unaware of what work is really being performed to my car considering  I have not been provided with a proper work history and/or parts being replaced on the vehicle. It has been a confusing month of waiting and being lied to. All information I received is over phone and very few emails. I have no proper paperwork being provided with work history. If vehicle was taken to said Nissan dealership on the may 4. I have no been provided with any paperwork. Owner should have a right to know of work step tracking. Poor communication and poor promises. Have been told multiple times my car would be completed on said dates but was not. Was told the vehicle would be done may 11 2017. Vehicle currently still not completed. Looking for completion. Was told it will be completed Monday may 15, 2017 but I cannot trust them after I have been lied to multiple times. I understand some things do not always finish on time but one month later and multiple diagnosis of same problem and no completion I have realized I have been taken advantage of.

This is a reply to the former complaint from [redacted] regarding the 2007 infinity G35. The customer contacted us and informed us that Nissan had diagnosed the described vehicle and the vehicle needed repairs. We picked up the vehicle and had it diagnosed to confirm that the throttle bodies...

needed to be replaced. Our mechanic cleaned the MAF and throttle bodies out and checked intake boots for leaks. This did not fix the issue so we proceeded with fixing the throttle bodies that not only our mechanic, but the shop [redacted] took it to said the vehicle needed. After the parts arrived the throttle bodies were replaced. This did not fix the issue. The vehicle has been to Infiniti of Lynnwood twice since we have had it. We have also had the power steering sensor checked, changed the PCV valve, performed smoke test to check for leaks. Our mechanic has come to a conclusion that the vehicle has most likely had an aftermarket tune on the ECU that is preventing it from establishing a relearn throttle body process. Because this has been such a long process we sent it to another shop to have a second set of eyes on it before proceeding. We sent to an outside mechanic on Lake City and they confirmed that the ECU should be reflashed or replaced. Lynnwood Infiniti say the ECU cannot be reflashed and after calling 6+ shops in the area I personally reached out to Infiniti of Bellevue and an appointment has been set for Monday at 9:30 am. Their mechanics believe that they can reflash the ECU there. We are hopeful that this is the last thing this car needs. This hasn't been a fun process for anyone involved and we understand that, but at the same time this was not caught in the previous diagnosis from the customers chosen shop either. We are the doing the best we can to complete this as soon as possible. We are also working around the schedule of outside mechanics and are pushing to get this done as quickly as possible.

We are just trying to do our part to make this work out for both parties. This vehicle was sold 100% as is with out a warranty, implied or other. [redacted] was never declined a pre inspection or to purchase an after market warranty. We are not trying to help because we have to, we are simply just trying to help because we believe it is the right thing to do. We are doing the best we can to get this done as quickly as we can. We are a small dealership with a 5 person crew. This hasn't been convenient for our crew either.  Nissan shops handle infinity shops overflow. If anyone told [redacted] the appointments were with a Nissan store they made an error. It can be confirmed with infinity of Lynnwood that the vehicle has been seen there over this course. We have no reason to lie about the progress with your vehicle. Thank you
