Only hire this company if you (1.) want to do a lot of the work yourself, (2.) have a flexible time frame, (3.) low expectations for just about everythingOh-- and buy that insurance! You will need it For our move in December, 2016, we'd booked an early time slot on a Saturday--for which we paid more per hourWe chose that time because we knew a three bedroom house + garage might take all day to moveI sat waiting in our boxhouse for hours, fielding the occasional phone call from Wildcat saying "It would be just a little longer"They did not arrive until after 1p; our appointment had been at 9:00a The two guys they sent were very nice, but didn't look like the hefty movers I'd used in the pastI hadn't broken down our furniture, etc, because (in the past) movers had always been able to do that quickly for me, and I received no instructions from Wildcat that might differThey took ages breaking down two beds and lost a set of screws for one of the beds(Mind you: we're paying by the hour.) They did not come with the right toolsThey had no appliance dollies, for instance, so they were actually bare-handing things like a washing machine down a flight of stepsI could barely watchThat's just one example Within two hours of their arrival, one of the guys started to ask "if we HAD to be out of the house by the end of the day." He said they could come back later in the week to finish upNot a third of the items had been moved into the truck, and already they wanted to knock off earlyBy 6:00p, my brother and I started moving boxes with them to try to hurry the process along In the process of moving the truckload to our new house, they had damaged a vintage secretary--splintering the drawer and somehow losing a piece of the hardwareAt that point, I agreed to stop the work and let them go, job unfinished, because I wanted to contact the owner and discuss everything that had happened before letting them touch any of our possessions again The most disappointing part--and why I'm complaining on line-- is that when I brought all this to the attention of the owner, he made a perfunctory apology and offered 10% off the rest of the moveWhen I pointed out that the inconvenience warranted at the very least a deeper discount, he replied, "It's not like we charged you for the items we didn't move." And that was that I will say that the insurance did get us a professional woodworker to fix the secretaryHe did a fantastic job, but we had to hound Wildcat for several days to set that upBUY THE INSURANCE! If you have a bigger job, are on a stricter schedule for your move, and want your possessions to remain undamaged during a move, don't use WildcatSince our experience, I've talked to four separate coworkers who have similar storiesCaveat emptor

We hired Wildcat Moving after reading all of the great reviews We spoke with them on the phone and let them know we would be moving from a square foot home to a two story home only one neighborhood over The only large/heavy items they would have were our washer and dryer and furniture It took 1/hours and two trucks (NOT FULLY LOADED) to get us moved And the second truck load I was informed that they could not fit everything on since they had flat loaded the entire truck My fire pit, boxes and other large micsitems didn't make it onto the truck The truck also didn't come with the proper equipment as the website so clearly states...."We are professionals with large box trucks (up to feet), dollies, hand trucks, furniture pads and all sorts of tools." They did not have a dolly So when it came time to get our washer upstairs....they almost didn't make it After minutes and the two movers fighting the whole time, they finally got it upstairs only to drop it onto the brand new tile in the laundry room Luckily I have not noticed any damage, but since they don't insure appliances, I don't know that anything would have been done had there have been damage Next time, I will definitely pay extra to hire *true [redacted] professionals who come with the appropriate equipment and insurance In this case, you definitely get what you pay for

We called for an estimate and spoke with Jordan. He explained their moving and cost policies very thoroughly and we booked our move with them. On moving day the driver called to apprise us of arrival time and they arrived promptly. We had a large move and they provided two 26 foot trucks and 4 men (Nathan T[redacted], Clay Y[redacted], Lecholas M[redacted] and Daniel J[redacted]) who were very polite, clean, personable and hard working. They went through our house and reviewed out items, began loading immediately, worked extremely hard and wasted no time. They treated our belongings (many antiques and fragile items) like gold, pointed out any damaged items prior to loading, and carefully dismantled items needing it. They did not charge for the time on their lunch break and delivered the move expediently. We have moved many times during my husband's career and have used national carriers. This locally owned and operated company was every bit as good as "the big guys". The prior review, which was negative, sure didn't have our crew. They packed like a jigsaw puzzle and the biggest problem was that we had moved much of our smaller items ourselves and they didn't have enough little stuff to fill in gaps in the load. Our moving day was rainy and they had to move a lot of stuff out of our basement and building, but I did not hear one complaint. It would have good to know they would charge the Visa carrying fee if we used a credit card. We would have had cash on hand had we known but that is our only negative. Thank you, Wildcat Moving and the great crew who took care of us.

We hired Wildcat Moving after reading all of the great reviews. We spoke with them on the phone and let them know we would be moving from a 1300 square foot home to a two story home only one neighborhood over. The only large/heavy items they would have were our washer and dryer and furniture. It took 5 1/2 hours and two trucks (NOT FULLY LOADED) to get us moved. And the second truck load I was informed that they could not fit everything on since they had flat loaded the entire truck. My fire pit, 5 boxes and other large mics. items didn't make it onto the truck. The truck also didn't come with the proper equipment as the website so clearly states...."We are professionals with large box trucks (up to 26 feet), dollies, hand trucks, furniture pads and all sorts of tools." They did not have a dolly. So when it came time to get our washer upstairs....they almost didn't make it.
