AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! I purchased a truck through Johnson Street Motors at the beginning of August. I dealt with a guy named Corey. The truck was a trade in from Auto Park. I was told they had not received the title from auto park yet and I signed a document saying my title would be in my possession no later than 9-13. I asked multiple times to make sure thst the title was CLEAN!...NO LEANS OR HOLDS! and was assured that it was. Well....here it is 9-21, and my title is still MIA. I called multiple times (due to work schedule being their hours of operation) to get answers and no one ever picks up. It rings and then starts playing music. I went last Wednesday (9-14) and the title lady left a sticky note for the owner to call about my title. She then said she would call me back as soon as she heard anything. By Saturday (9-17), I still had not received a call so I stopped in. She met me outside and said that my title had a "hold" on it that the company was trying to get released. My temp plate expires Saturday and here I am unable to get it plated Bc they can't run a business. I will be going there on my lunch tomorrow and if the title is not in their possession to place in my hand, I will raise hell and demand my money back. And I'll make sure to have my lawyers number on speed dial. If at all possible, AVOID THIS CAR LOT!

Johnson Street Motors AKA Stan's Auto Sales AKA South Main Auto AKA Wholesale Auto Deals, advertises online as individual owner. When contacted they respond with a cell phone, first name "Corey" and even sets up an appointment to meet. It was implied that he couldn't meet until later in the day, "after work" When I got there I was mad that they had lied to me. When I told the OWNER that his response was "everybody lies" When I stated it was a waste of my time the owners response was "people waste my time everyday" This company is completely deceptive in their advertising. The State of Indiana should revoke their dealer license.

I purchased a truck from, what was then, Wholesale Auto Deals, in April of 2015. At that time everything went as expected until a month later I never received my title. When I tried to contact the owner, I never got a response so I decided to pay a visit. When I returned, the business was renamed under Johnson Street Motors and under new ownership. Upon calling the Secretary of State as advised from the BMV (once I was finally given my title and tried to get the truck in my name and plated), I found out they had revoked their dealer license the day before my vehicle was sold to me. Therefore I had been given an illegal paper plate that I drove on, unknowingly, for a month and a vehicle I couldn't even get in my name. The new owner, (who I was told was the new owner), gave me a run around that he couldn't do anything about what happened to me. Although when I told him I had contacted a lawyer, he was all of a sudden able to help me. About 3 months later I was able to get my title. As a result, I had a late fee for my plates and was not able to drive my vehicle for the time that I was screwed around. I don't appreciate dishonesty and that's all I was given while dealing with these people. And come to find out, the previous owner (of Wholesale Auto Deals), now works at Johnson Street Motors. I would just like to warn anyone of the crooked business they run to try to prevent anyone else having to deal with what I did.
