Date Sent: 7/3/1:04:PMI brought a half Kt marquis diamond and wedding band set to soulmates to sell for meWhen I went to check on it this past spring of 2017, the store was closed I contacted you, Revdex.comAccording to Soulmates, they let their customers know they were closing I didn't receive any notification by mail or emailI've done business with them for years, buying my wife various things there The last time I saw the ring in their store it was in the center left displayThey had my phone number, etc I would like to find out where I can go to get the ring set backPlease advise address to contact Soulmates or a phone number so I can pick up the ring setThank you 7/13/2017Attached is a copy of the ring

This ring on consignment could have been in my mother's name *** ***I would like to attempt to resolve this if I could obtain an email address or phone number to SoulmatesThey could also reach me at *** *** ***Thank you, *** ***

***:We have checked and we have no consignment merchandise that was left after the store closed on 12/31/in the name of either *** *** or *** *are or that matches the complainant's description of the item he says was left with usAll consignors are given a receipt/consignment slip at the time merchandise is placed for consignment that contains the date of consignment, a description of the item being left for consignment and a consignment ID numberA copy of the receipt/consignment slip is kept in the store's consignment fileThe receipt/consignment slip also plainly states that we are not responsible for consignment items left longer than days and if the item has not sold within days and the consignor wishes to continue to leave the item on consignment, they must fill out a new consignment agreementThis process and documentation is repeated for any repairs left with us as well.We advertised our closing for almost days prior to closing on TV, print, signage, Facebook and direct mailAdditionally, before the going out of business sale started and was announced, we called anyone who had left consignment items or items for repair at the store, and for whom we had contact information, to tell them the store was closing and to please pick up their merchandiseWe also kept our Facebook page and website operational for days following the sale with instructions on how to reach us.The initial information we received about this complaint seemed to indicate the item in question was left with us in (!).Unless the complainant can produce documentation evidencing our receipt of the ring in question I just don't know what we can do for himAs a last attempt, could he furnish a description of the item involved? We would take one more luck but I'm afraid it may not produce a different result.***

Soulmates closed on 12/31/after years in businessIn mid-October, the closing was announced by print, TV and direct mail advertisingThe website remained active until 03/05/with instructions on how to reach us by email or phoneAll customers that had items left with us on consignment
were called and advised to pick up their itemsAll items but one have been picked up and it is a diamond ring but not in the complainant's nameEach person leaving an item on consignment is given a receipt for same which clearly states we are not responsible for items left for more than days, in accordance with Ohio lawIf the complainant can provide us with a receipt verifying that the item was left with us and when and under what name or provide a description or picture of the item we will be happy to see if the one consignment item we currently have might be is theirs under the wrong nameThe complaint seems to indicate the item was left with us in (???) Soulmates was an Ohio LLC and has been dissolved and has no assetsThis is the only complaint we have received regarding a consignment item
