***Attn: *** ***Re: ID *** Dear ***:I had the opportunity to review the above complaintIt would seem that it’s more of a rant than a legitimate complaintI take exception to the first two comments as they are without basis and should not be part of this forum*** ***’s car was disabled via a system in place at the point of purchase for individuals that have credit issuesThis system is installed to make paying on time and keeping insurance on the vehicle a primary concern for the owner/borrowerIn *** ***’s case, her car was disabled for two reasonsHer payment was delinquent and her insurance had been canceled for non-payment As you know, this situation places the lender at riskI will produce the documents to verify these facts if necessary and they are more than enough to document the situationHowever, they can also be obtained from Ms***s as I am sure her insurance company sent her the same notices we received and her payment record is reflectiveI would hope that in good faith she would produce the entire record for reviewIn an effort to rectify her situation, our attempts to reach her failed and the last course of action was to disable the vehicle in an attempt make contact with her and resolve the problemWhen she did call in she was advised of the complete situationShe made payment arrangements and was to have her insurance faxed overWe never received the insuranceDespite her claim of doing it twice, there is no record either from her or her agentIn addition to the cancellation documents, it would be illustrative of the points here to have the record of payment for the replacement coverage disclosed.Even if we accepted the facts as she presents them and I don’t, if she took her car to a mechanic for a no start condition, and the mechanic misdiagnosed the condition and replaced parts, I believe that issue rests with the mechanicThere seems to be no basis for a $requestWhat costs were incurred? Where are the invoices for repairs that were not covered under her service contract? She has roadside assistance with her service contract and it pays for towingAgain, even if what she says is true and did not have the knowledge that her car was disabled for delinquencies, any mechanic or roadside tow truck driver could diagnose the problem without the need for complicated repairsI take issue with her description of the costs as they seem exaggerated or contrived.I also take issue with the disparaging remarks made in a forum to resolve issuesIt is my opinion that any name calling or negative commentary should be redacted or forbidden prior to forwarding to me or posting as it serves no purpose in a dialog designed for the resolution of specific issuesI believe the remarks are put forth for one purpose and that is to inflict harmI demand they be removed from any further dialogs or any other postingsI believe it to be in direct opposition to the Revdex.com’s mission statement and vision of “ Integrity includes respect, ethics and intent.” Therefore, I would expect more from you than just forwarding an undocumented, unfounded rant riddled with insultFuthermore, I demand an apology as this has been the tone from Ms***s from the onsetI understand the distress that a lack of funds can produce but that is not an excuse for a lack of courtesyThe situation she finds herself in is a direct result of her own missteps.During my conversation with *** ***s, she impertinently and repeatedly suggested that she would take us to court over how she felt she was wronged, I promptly replied that it was a course of action that seemed appropriate for her and l would be happy to speak with her attorney or a judge to explain our actions and rightsIt seemed more appropriate to have a third party explain her lack of payments, lack of insurance and lack of action as the cause of her distress rather than it coming from me.The twenty three dollar emission part that she refers to in her complaint has been sitting on a shelf in our repair facility for monthsShe has been aware of that fact for some time and has never brought the vehicle for this minor repairMost likely because it has little to do with how well the vehicle runs.In conclusion, any issue she has rests fully with her and are a direct result of her own actions or lack of actionThis insulting rant and request for $undocumented dollars in the guise of a legitimate complaint coming from the Revdex.com is disappointmentFor an agency dedicated to dispute resolution, my expectation would be that the Revdex.com would attempt to clarify the issues on behalf of the complainant before they are presented in this forumIt seems to me that by forwarding the insults, the Revdex.com is complicit in propagating ill willMay I point out that the mission statement of the Revdex.com is:Our Mission:To be the leader in advancing marketplace trust We do this by:• Setting standards for marketplace trust• Encouraging and supporting best practices by engaging with and educating consumers and businesses• Celebrating marketplace role models• Calling out and addressing substandard marketplace behavior• Creating a community of trustworthy businesses and charitiesAs you point out in your cover letter, this is not a validated complaint but how does forwarding and posting unsubstantiated claims and insults align with the mission statement? No further responses on this side will be produced in this forum, however, I do expect a written apology from the Revdex.com, you and the complainant as this seems to be hatemongering masquerading as dispute resolution.Thank you for your time and consideration.Chris P***KNIGHT MOTORS

Re: ID ***Dear ***I had the opportunity to review the above complaintWe sold a Jeep Liberty as listedThis customer complained of a three issues, they were repaired in a timely manner upon presentation of the vehicleThese were done well past a mile markerHowever, none of
the issues were more than $each to repair and none negatively impacted use of the vehicleThe *** garage from Maryland overstated the repairs to the customer and the warranty companyThere were no authorizations issued by the warranty companyFor example, the left rear window ceased operation and the power motor was replaced with a new oneThe cost was below the deductible threshold and not charged to the customerIn addition, we held the vehicle for an extra day after it was repaired by us to further insure it proper operationThe customer authorized this extra timeNo issues were found and it was returned to the customer even though her first monthly payment was in arrears at the timeIt is our position that the complaints/issues are a subterfuge in an attempt to negate the obligation of the vehicle paymentsShe complained that the vehicle service lights were on once again but the proof that she submitted to us at our request is a picture of the dash and interior and not a short video of the vehicle running as we requestedThe picture is inconclusiveThe photo of the car's dash shows it has an additional miles on it in the days from the date of purchaseThat’s an average of miles per day and that includes the days she says it was not being drivenAccounting for days she says it was not drivable would actually increase the daily averageIt is our position that the customer has had no issues that have negatively impacted the use of the vehicleThis customer was sent, by U.SMail, a copy of the work order, emailed a description of the work and emailed a copy of a replacement work orderThe work order has no additional information that would impede the monthly paymentAnd to claim she never received confirmation of completed work is absolutely falseIn addition, she and her fiance confirmed the work upon pickupEverything was operational as they had test driven the vehicle prior to our conversation of a work orderFurthermore, five days later, Ms*** confirmed that the vehicle was running well in a in a follow up phone call on our recorded lineThen later in the conversation and right after I reminded her that her payment was not forthcoming, she reversed herself and began the complaint againThe conversation became what can only be described as an automotive take on an Abbott and Costello baseball routineAs of the date of the complaint, the customer has made unfulfilled promises to make the vehicle payments and as of the date of this writing, the vehicle has been repossessed as the customer is more than days behindThroughout the course of her ownership, she has not been forthrightIn short, all of the email traffic, complaints, and phone calls are, in our opinion, a poorly contrived sham in order to keep from maintaining her obligation The mileage indicates that there is no significant issue depriving or impacting usage of the vehicleWe respectfully request that this complaint be summarily dismissed, and that no posting of any type appear in any public forum and that no further responses to it be entertainedWe submit that enough of our time and now yours has been wasted in a fraudulent transaction where the customer had no intention of meeting the terms of her contractThis complaint is an attempt to use dispute resolution to further gamer good and services in what we believe is a “renting or wardrobing scam”.If you need additional information regarding the email correspondence that outlines our efforts, details the transaction and portrays the fourberie, I will be happy to provide it.Thank you for your time and consideration in resolving this matter.Thank you for your time and consideration.Chris P***KNIGHT MOTORS

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I have in fact never made a late payment. My...

payments are due on the 25th of every month. 8 have attached record of onetime payment for the month in which he cut the service off. I work in a bank so there is a 10 day grace period and he even advised me of that when I first got the vehicle. All I want is a refund and for him to own up to what he did. I can have Farmers insurance send over the record of the 2 faxes they've sent to him.
Regards,
