From: Carla S[redacted] <cs[redacted]@pmrcompanies.com> Sent: Wednesday, July 26, 2017 2:16 PM To: info Subject: case ID [redacted]   This is in regards to the complaint received from [redacted].  He stated, “since it’s not my fault I’m forced to move I do not want to move”.  However, he...

was not forced to move.  We had the floor plan he requested ready for him.   When he came in to request a transfer, due to his girlfriend planning to move in with him, we explained to him that the only unit that we had coming available, at that moment, was a resident’s unit that was on notice but it was possible to have something else available by his transfer time.  The staff, as always,  explained to him that when a resident is “on notice” they may move out as they have indicated or they may decide to stay.  They let him know that if the resident decides to stay, it could delay his transfer if we did not have anything else to become available before his transfer date.      The resident that was on notice decided to stay.  However, it did not delay the transfer because we had another unit become available so we got the unit ready for Mr. [redacted].  Mr. [redacted] was notified and was given the address to the unit and then he later called back and said his girlfriend now wanted to live in the front of the property and the particular unit was toward the back of the property.    We charged him the termination fee because we prepared a unit at his request and then he chose to terminate the lease thereafter.   The lease that Mr. [redacted] signed clearly states the amount in which he would be responsible for paying, should he later chose to terminate his lease.    Thank you,   Carla S[redacted] Regional Vice President PMR Companies 963-965 Baxter Avenue Louisville, KY 40204 502-412-0010 Ext. 122

Revdex.com:As stated by Carla the information she provided is not accurate. I never preferred a front unit because that did not matter to me. I need a two bedroom apartment and that's it. The leasing agent nayala never told me that anyone requesting to move out and can proceed and not move out. All of the information from the business is incorrect. I have been with this property for 3 years. I'm in college at [redacted] which is 9 minutes away from the property and I work at [redacted] 6 minutes in the other direction. What sense does it make to drive a longer commute from my current apartment now when I could've stayed and the rent is higher than it was going to be at wildwood apartments. Nayala stated that an apartment would be ready in may which they sold and I had to wait til June. Waited a week before June and the property manager called me I still have the voicemail to prove. I never received an apartment number which was stated. I really do not appreciate these wrongful allegations. If I did something wrong I am a person who owns up to his mistakes. I did nothing wrong and everything that was asked of me. The incorrect information is given by the business to make it seem like I chose to not pick an apartment when the leasing agents told me no units were available until after June which was unacceptable.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
