Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The original complaint stipulated that I paid $for professional headshots to my talent agentThey are now seven weeks late and I still HAVE NOT received themThe proofs that were shown to me via a website link did not reflect what I need as an actor to get work—Theatrical shot (blurred background), Commercial shot and lifestyle shots The only valid, and certainly ineffectual, response to my original complaint was: “The shorter version is that we provided exactly what was promised.” The Agency stated that they attached a couple images of what they tookI still HAVE NOT received the 100+ shots “as promised.” They offered no proof that I was in receipt of my head shots Hear are the new arguments they offered: The agency claims that they provided different solutions This is untrue, and they offered no proof of their different solution (because there were none) nor did they describe in detail what they offeredNo solution was ever offered to me by the agencyBut, it should have been The agency claims that there were wardrobe problems This is untrue, and does nothing to resolve this disputeI brought in a large selection of clothes in accordance with the agency’s requestIf the wardrobe I brought in was not what the agency requested, I should have told me BEFORE the shoot or sometime BEFORE this complaintThis is the first mention of this argument The agency attacks me, ad hominem, claiming that I have emotional problems and poor hygiene This is untrue, and does nothing to resolve this dispute Does this sound like an agency that has MY best interests in mind? The big picture is that professional talent agents DO NOT charge for head shotsThey make their money by getting clients work and they take a percentage of the contracted pay (normally around 10%) This is what is missing from this formulaThe Agency held itself out to be working in the capacity of a talent agent; however, it has shown absolutely no concern whatsoever in working together in a mutually beneficial agent—client capacityThis is what talent agents doIf the head shots are wrong, WE BOTH DO NOT GET PAID! They certainly would want to remedy this immediatelyit is obvious that The Agency’s primary concern is charging their “clients” for services—luring in hopeful actors and models and taking their money under the disguise of getting them workThis is fraudWhatever other arguments The Agency comes up with, note that in no way has anyone from The Agency ever shown the least bit of interest in getting me work, getting us work, in the capacity in which The Agency was commissioned I was defraudedI want my $back Regards, [redacted] ***

Fourth Attempt - I won't add any images this timeI think that is causing the errorI had just written a much more detailed response but I got and error when I clicked proceed and I don't think it went throughThe shorter version is that we provided exactly what was promisedI have attached a couple images of the hundreds we tookWe offered her different solutions but she was only interested in a full refund, which is not acceptable since the team worked so hard and has already been paidYou can view the headshot section of the photographers section here http://www.arlenj.com/portfolio/head-shots/ and see it is the same style and quality that is promisedPlease know that we had issues with the client bringing the requested wardrobe and came with very greasy hair and poor hygieneShe was also having "emotional issues" when she arrived, unrelated to the shoot, where my team waited an extra hour for her to calm down so that they could get startedEven then they had a hard time getting her to "express her personality" during the shootThey did the best they could of which was in their controlYou will be able to clearly see that the image quality is not an issue and only fair they should be paid for all their time and hard work

attached a couple images of the hundreds we took. We offered her different solutions but she was only interested in a full refund, which is not acceptable since the team worked so hard and has already been paid. I am rejecting this response because:The original complaint stipulated that I paid $500 for professional headshots to my talent agent. They are now seven weeks late and I still HAVE NOT received them. The proofs that were shown to me via a website link did not reflect what I need as an actor to get work—1. Theatrical shot (blurred background), 1 Commercial shot and 2 lifestyle shots. The only valid, and certainly ineffectual, response to my original complaint was: “The shorter version is that we provided exactly what was promised.”  The Agency stated that they attached a couple images of what they took. I still HAVE NOT received the 100+ shots “as promised.” They offered no proof that I was in receipt of my head shots. Hear are the new arguments they offered: 1.     The agency claims that they provided different solutions. This is untrue, and they offered no proof of their different solution (because there were none) nor did they describe in detail what they offered. No solution was ever offered to me by the agency. But, it should have been.2.     The agency claims that there were wardrobe problems. This is untrue, and does nothing to resolve this dispute. I brought in a large selection of clothes in accordance with the agency’s request. If the wardrobe I brought in was not what the agency requested, I should have told me BEFORE the shoot or sometime BEFORE this complaint. This is the first mention of this argument.3.     The agency attacks me, ad hominem, claiming that I have emotional problems and poor hygiene. This is untrue, and does nothing to resolve this dispute.  Does this sound like an agency that has MY best interests in mind? The big picture is that professional talent agents DO NOT charge for head shots. This company is a scam. They are professional up until it is time for you to receive your payments for a job you have completed. They will dodge phone calls & emails. They're favorite excuse is "Let me check with accounting" which does not exist & is run by the company's CEO Justin Brown. Who ironically is always on vacation somewhere with his girlfriend. The Agency is currently called Brown Agency, because Wilhelmenia kicked them out. Avoid them at all cost. I have been with them for almost 2yrs & was recently was removed from their website without notice. I believe it is because I am currently seeking payment for a job that was completed 90days ago.

Very very grimy agency that comes up with every excuse to not pay you on time.

They also scammed a lot of their models & actors into paying $400 to join a jet program. That was suppose to fly them to and from castings out of state. After they were paid the "fee" of $400, the program all of a sudden vanished & they refused to refund the victims of the scam.

DO NOT SIGN WITH BROWN AGENCY! Formally knows as Wilhelmina Brown & Wilhelmina Austin. STAY AWAY.
