Wilkins Waste Removal stopped picking up our garbage at the beginning of February, It is now April 1, They have not picked up the garbage once Honestly, I'm glad that we didn't pre pay for their servicesThis place is a scam, and I will be actively trying to keep people from signing up for their service

We have been using Wilkins Waste Removal for almost years There have been several time we have forgotten to put the trash by the road and they have walked up to the garage and gotten the can to empty for us There prices are very reasonably Yes, they have picked up a few days late a couple of times but we have never had a problem getting in touch with them My husband has spoken with the owner several times and found this is a very small, family run business I would rather spend my money locally, even with a few occasional hiccups Thanks for the great service Wilkins Waste Removal!

There have been several time we have forgotten to put the trash by the road and they have walked up to the garage and gotten the can to empty for us. There prices are very reasonably. Yes, they have picked up a few days late a couple of times but we have never had a problem getting in touch with them. My husband has spoken with the owner several times and found this is a very small, family run business. I would rather spend my money locally, even with a few occasional hiccups.

Unfortunately we did prepay 1 year in advance. We had been customers the year before and the service was exceptional. However, in the fall of 2015 waste pick up was sporatic. sometimes 3 weeks apart. We tried to contact them, because we do value supporting a small business, but they were not at all responsive. I finally had not choice but to look for service elsewhere. Last November I sent them an email explaining that we were going to another company and that we expected a refund for the remainder of the year. The trash can was picked up within a week, however no refund was provided. Again, small business so we didn't pursue the refund. Surprisingly I received a bill for the next years service last week. Phone call to resolve was unanswered. I understand small business may have problems, but customer responsiveness is a must.

I have had Wilkins Waste since they started up. They are a very small family company that is just getting established, which takes a time and a lot of determination. No, there service has not been perfect the last month, but has been awesome up until then. They are the only trash company I know of that will drive up to your house to get your trash if you forget to put it out. They will also take extra trash next to your can if the can is full. All other companies will leave extra trash there or charge you more. So when service started slacking I knew something major had to of gone wrong. Then I found out it was something major with there truck things made sense. I wish more people would stop and think about it...When any vehicle breaks down it takes time to get it repaired and order parts, and thats for an everyday vehicle. I am sure it's even harder to finding parts for an older Garbage Truck with a compactor. People need to stop and think about these things and realize that the many can't drive around and pick up your trash in the trunks of there cars. Yes I am sure people get flusterated about missed trash. But it is/was only obvious something major had gone wrong, this very small company was having growing pains. I think that people contacting news channels and news papers was uncalled for and not necessary. All that has done is attempted to make a bad name for this small family business that has gone out of there way and above and beyond for there customers until now. People don't seem to take the time to post positive comments or calls when they do extra things, but will sure take time to let people and reports know when they have done something wrong. I wish people would stop and think about the whole thing and look at the big picture before they over react.
