Ms
Gonzalez,
First and
most importantly, I would like to apologize for your experience. Our service department prides itself in our
customer satisfaction. We have reviewed
the footage of your vehicle and can’t seem to find a time when the car was not
accounted for. With that being said, I
can’t say for sure that one of our employees didn’t use the car for more than
necessary to diagnose the repair and again to check the car after the repair. The service director and myself believe that
we should have driven that vehicle about ** miles for this process. Again, I sincerely apologize for what has
happened. I believe the customer is
always right and completely agree that your settlement request is
justified. I will have the check cut
within the next two days and can mail it or have it ready for pickup. This is our “good faith” effort to keep you
happy with our dealership. You have been
a great customer and we would love the opportunity to earn back your business
Sincerely,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me

Hi,
I have attached scans of receipts and a print screen of my [redacted] program that show the date and time the photo of my odometer was taken. There is a copy of my purchase (from my credit card activity) of a full tank of gas the [redacted] prior to servicing my [redacted]. I'm sure the gas station...

has video and paper statements about how many gallons were used and that I filled up my tank. On the Sterling McCall receipt you can see the "mileage in" is [redacted] miles. This is 100% correct as I wrote it down myself when turning in the initial paper work about my car's info when dropping it off. You can also see that the "mileage out" is [redacted] miles, a difference of * miles. The time it had was [redacted].
I noticed while driving on the highway ([redacted]) that my mileage was much higher than it was when I dropped it off. I thumbed through the information settings on my car and it said the AVG MPG was [redacted] and the gas was down by [redacted] a tank. Because I was on the highway I could not take my phone out and take a picture while driving ** MPH. I then decided to stop at a [redacted] to get a location with a time stamp [redacted], a difference of ** mins of driving if you don't include the * minutes it took me to adjust my seat and mirrors (receipt attached). I imaged the odometer/dash on my [redacted] (original photo and screen shot with digital time stamp of [redacted] both attached) while parked at the [redacted] drive thru, the gas tank is down to [redacted] of a tank and the mileage reads [redacted] miles. That is a ** mile difference from the mileage out they noted, and ** total miles since turning in my car. For me to achieve ** miles on my car in ** min, I would have to drive [redacted] (** miles/ .[redacted]. That is physically impossible, as my odometer only goes up to [redacted], and let's face it, this is [redacted] traffic around [redacted]. I don't drive like this, and I have no speeding tickets on my record.
I also attached a map of the route from Sterling McCall Ford, that is approximately [redacted] miles. So when we do the math of the final mileage minus my driving to [redacted] ([redacted] miles) we get [redacted].* miles which was the true mileage out. This is a difference of ** miles that Sterling McCall put on my car. You can also see on the odometer that Trip A reads [redacted], I set this to zero every time I fill up my tank (which would have been [redacted], [redacted]) and it had ** miles on this trip because I didn't drive much that weekend prior to dropping it off at the dealership. Because I didn't image the [redacted] while driving on the highway, and I also averaged ** MPH for [redacted] miles (a gas friendly speed) the AVG MPG jumped to [redacted]. However, this difference can be proven with simple algebra. I consistently average ** MPG overall, and [redacted] on the highway, which is on par for what Ford advertises.
After noticing all of this, I quickly called my [redacted] who has been a mechanic for decades. I asked him if he were to replace a front end suspension, how many miles would he put on it afterwards to test it. He said * miles. *. Not ** miles. I proceeded to tell him all of these thing I saw and he agreed that they misused my car.
Basically, this dealership breached any contract I have with them by misusing my car. The evidence I have is in pictures, receipts, and math (something that can't be disproven). And the kicker to all of this is that now (almost * weeks after), my suspension is making the same noises when going over speed bumps that I took it in to get fixed!! I don't even know if they replaced anything! I do not trust this dealer to ever touch my car again and I would like to take it to another place of my choosing to have it checked out. Let me know if you need anything further. Thank you.

Mr. [redacted],
I am sincerely sorry for your experience with

to our employees that had interaction with you during the process and seeing
your complaints, I believe we all bear some responsibility in this failed

I would like the opportunity
to earn your business back in the future.
However, it sounds like (from both sides), this is not wanted from
either party.  Please accept my sincerest
apology that we weren’t able to meet your expectations.  We wish you the best of luck with your future
