Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The part about the additional storage charge is TRUE, but I have only their word that there were additional moving men used (It may true, but I don't know.) I did not see any extra men, and I was never shown any documentation I asked for a breakdown of my moving charges SIX MONTHS ago, and am only now hearing this I find that suspicious Sincerely, [redacted]

In Response to your request for more information regarding ID # ***With regard to this move and paperwork we re-evaluated and found some discrepancies.On 9/26/we loaded the Customers items from our storage area into a truck fordelivery.All pieces were checked/inventoried as loaded by our
crew, we had additional Moversworking to expedite delivery.The actual move to the Client location only required Movers, when we received therequest for paperwork from Client, in our haste to respond, only time sheets werelocated & an error was made in adding only movers and their hours and sending thatincomplete total to the ClientWe neglected to add the storage total and warehousehandling labor.The "Bill of Lading" indicates an amount of $was due upon delivery for storageto delivery date(See Notes 1: + $past due storage)Move Labor Men 6+1/Hours@ = $660.73Warehouse handling labor $150.17Storage Due $145.16Total Due $956.36.We are sorry for the confusion on this matter; if we can be of further help please let usknow.Respectfully submitted,Willamette Express Ltd

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: The person responding to our complaint is trying to re-write the history of our move with them We categorically reject their statement that we were to have all of our artwork packed and/or removed prior to the packers coming in In addition to having provided instructions about the artwork to their back office personnel, we reminded the packers on the days they were packing (and 1/days because they ran behind schedule) that no artwork was to be packed We had no reason to believe that they would assume that any remaining pictures on walls and sculptures on pedestals did not fall within the definition of "artwork" and could be packed Artwork is artwork, and in this case, we're talking about a finely-carved walrus tusk displayed on a pedestal....what could they have been thinking to pack it up with toilet articles like a plunger?At the very least, we would have expected them to consult with us before moving ahead and even touching it The fact is that they were under pressure to finish the packing and just did what was expedient We know not to expect any financial restitution from this company But, we have taken our case to social media and are forewarning prospective customers that this is a company that cannot be trusted to move goods of significant value.Sincerely,*** ***

We did perform pack and move services for the ***'s.The clients had an onsite estimate prior to their move and the options ofInsurance were explained by our estimator
The client chose the ((Standard Protection" which is provided to customers
at nochargeA signature on paperwork move day notes the protection choice.Standard protection is .60c per pound per article; that was the basis for thecustomer receiving $(10#) for this piece
"Replacement Value Protection" was also an option for this or any client topurchase, which was declined
The Client was to have packed any art work or objects before our Pack crewarrivedThe item still there was then packed with some protection and otheritems from the area, it was not perceived to be of any concern by thePacker/Mover
While we do deeply regret this unfortunate incident we responded timely and inthe manner that follows company policy and our regulations

In Response to your request for more information regarding a move forID # [redacted].We received a letter of concern from the Client on Jan 25, 2017 in our office regardingtheir Oct 20, 2016 move.As the Clients letter stated we also provided SOME packing services on move day, aservice we were happy to...

provide but does require time to accomplish.The Clients packed contents on their own prior to our anival as well.While we inspect trucks at the end of our moves onsite, unfortunately no glass table topwas found at the time. ( or later)Our review of their move day also resulted in a 1/2 hour refund of Drive time charges,$50.83 mailed in February. A claim form was included with the refund and was receivedback in our office on February 13, 2017; the Client now listing other damaged items & 1missing item.At the point we receive a complete form our review process begins; after our review ofinformation was complete a refund for approved items bas been forwarded to accountingto issue a check by month end 3/31/2017. A letter explaining all details will be included.In summary our time line for a determination after receiving a completed Claim form wasFebruary 13, 2017 to March 31/2017.(Well under the 120 days we have to respond to a claim.)If we can be of further help please let us know.We of course always regret any instances of damages to any Clients items.Respectfully submitted,Willamette Express LtdClaims Department**Attachments redacted by Revdex.com staff[redacted]
