[redacted] applied to rent [redacted].  He was approved, paid his deposit and signed a deposit to hold form on 6/7/17 which clearly stated that if he changed his mind (for any reason) and decided not to move in then he would forfeit his deposit.  When he applied...

for the unit I personally spoke with him and told him that this unit was not at all close to any of his assigned work places on his employment letter attached to his application.  He said that was fine and he wanted the unit regardless.  We had two other applications who really wanted the unit, once [redacted] paid his deposit and signed his deposit to hold on 6/7 we notified the other applications it wasn't available any more.  When [redacted] notified us he didn't want the unit on 6/13/17 we called the other applications and they had already found somewhere else to live.  He was scheduled to move in on 7/7/17 and the unit is still vacant.  He forfeited his deposit because of the lost time of rent, if we could have rented it we would have been wiling to refund part of it but we were unable to do so.Thank you, Renee B[redacted]Willamette Meadow Property Management
