In regards to this complaint. The refrigerator is in the warehouse in a box. The-confusion arose when the sale did not close.
The builder re listed the house and had professional pictures...

taken after staging. Thetimeline of this is the problem. The builder changed the key code when the sale ended. The refrigerator was picked up re stocked. The professional pictures were taken beforethe refrigerator was restocked. In speaking with Aaron he has advised the party inmention that the refrigerator was in the warehouse.
It has been made mention that since they see the pictures on line. It is assumed thatthis has never been taken care of. A full refund has been issued to the partymentioned.
I hope this resolves this matter. If you need anything further, please let us know.Thank you

We have had the stove for a couple of weeks.  We called the consumer to set up delivery but we have not heard from the consumer.

Hello,
RE: Complaint# [redacted]
We have received you letter regarding the complaint from [redacted].Appliance Rescue Service is a service business. There are no free service callsThis is explained at the time of the phone call. I have spoken to the customer serviceRegarding this matter. At...

the time of the phone, the customer is told that the service fee is$79.00. Just like any other service business, there is a fee to come out to look at and diagnossa problem. The service tech did go out the resident when schedule for the service.
Appliance Rescue Service was sold to Willamette Valley Appliance over 1 year ago, and thiswas explained to the customer as well. Service calls are paid at the time of service. If otherworks or parts are needing an estimate is given to the customer. We do not do any otheradditional work until the customer signs to agree.
I hope this explains and resolves this matter. If you have any other questions, please do nothesitate to contact me.
Thank you,

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
While [redacted] may have had a service call charge in place when he owned the company, a service call for diagnosis was never charged to me as the repairs were also competed by him in which case the fee was WAIVED.  There are 2 instances specifically that I DID NOT pay any fee at all for a diagnosis, in part because he was already at my residence for another repair.  I would think there are records of any paid services/amount paid that ever provided.  I was told I was trying to 'steal' from their company and called 'stupid' for thinking any type of service is ever free.  He then proceeded to tell me that they will be telling my brother in law (who has nothing to do with the situation), that he no longer wants to do any business with him.  He was unprofessional and rude.
The fact that a partial refund was offered was ONLY offered as a bribe/ultimatum if I agreed to state that I filed a false claim.  There is NOTHING false about my claim.  I was NEVER informed on the phone that there would be a service call charge for the diagnosis.  They were fully aware that my intent was to deal with [redacted] based on the phone number I called as, per their explanation, [redacted] was getting a kickback for each of his clients they serviced.  The website with [redacted]s family photo on the front page with the phone number I called remains online for that reason, which is advertising that he is the owner and service provider.  All the statements I made are true, and therefore their offer was denied.
Sincerely,[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:
This response does not align with what we were advised throughout this issue. I do not want the company to misrepresent the actions they took and the lack of service we received.
It was made clear throughout that delays were due to issues with scheduling, broken down trucks, not having a chance to, etc.
We had requested to be updated on the progress. We were never contacted by the business; the only updates came when were initiated contact.
Aaron clearly stated, on our last phone call, that the seller decided to buy the fridge so they 'stuck our name' on another model they got in the warehouse. Since we are never contacted and were not advised of these changes until very late in the process, we were forced to find a fridge elsewhere and we're left extremely dissatisfied.
We did receive a refund and are satisfied with this result. I should like to make clear that when we requested that it be refunded and the financing account closed out, we were not given any information regarded the time frame, even though we specifically asked. We asked for a follow up to confirm, and never received it. I finally called and spoke with Carmen who advised he didn't really know if it was closed out but he saw a zero balance so it might have been
This Revdex.com response from the business is the first time we received actual confirmation. I was just hoping I wouldn't receive a bill of collection notice within the year for an account I asked to have closed.
The response from the company is either blatantly false, or the information we received throughout the 2-3 month same and subsequent return process was false and inaccurate.  I do not accept having a falsehood as an accepted response go there issue at hand.
Sincerely,[redacted]

Thank you for your letter regarding this service call. While we understand your desire to have your refrigerator repaired we believe there is a fundamental error in the understanding of how appliance repair for a complex refrigerator works. We went out to the home and diagnosed the refrigerator. For...

that we have a diagnosis fee. This charge covers the cost to figure out what is wrong with the customers appliance. While the customer may say ice make me isn’t working there are reasons for that and in some cases one part not working and other times multiple parts not working. We did over 18,000 calls last year and most times can diagnose with accuracy. There are times that a part will need to be replaced and that solves the problem. Other times a second part is also required. This of how breaks on a car work. You have the pass and you also have the rotors. If the original statement is that the breaks are going bad one doesn’t know the rotors are bad until the pads are taken off. Similar case here. In fact in the case of a car repair they would charge for the labor for both. But that didn’t happen here. We only charged for the original labor quotes and the additional when we came back out. The belief that the first wasn’t needed is a false assessment by someone who doesn’t understand the components of th internal working of a refrigerator. In good faith we did not charge a ligetimate charge for additional labor. The customer has spoken with the manager and was told that we will not credit a part that was needed especially when additional charges should have been paid by the customer. This repair should have been another $104. We will not be crediting parts that were needed to repair a customer owned broken appliance. We were called to repair a refrigerator and while it took additional parts no no parts charges were applied in order to assist the customer. We believe that we have full filled our side of the business transaction. The refrigerator now works and is under warranty for those parts and labor. If additional issues arise we will return with no additional fee if it relates to those parts. As always there will never be a return fee on the diagnosis.
