I am rejecting this response because:  Hello,  I actually sat down today to mark this complaint as dissatisfied. I was waiting as long as I could for the refund check. But it did not come as it states in the case. Please reopen this case so I can respond.  Thank you, [redacted]

My understanding is that [redacted] has received the mailed check as per our practice manager and accepted our apologies and the check has been cashed. I hope that they will give consideration to removing this complaint and again know that we are deeply sorry for their loss.  Dr L[redacted]

Certainly this situation is tragic and although our grief doesn't compare to your loss of a family member, please know that this weighs heavy on us as well. We certainly do not go into the field of vet med and or stay at the hospital for overnight shifts to have outcomes such as these. We are...

sincerely sorry for your loss and we have collectively met multiple times to ascertain what could have gone wrong, how we can remedy any problems and how to proceed in the future. There are many circumstances that could have been involved in this tragic event but ultimately we will be unlikely to ever find out the cause of death. I hope you know that we don't do this job for the money and to show our good faith we will give full refund, reiterate that we already did not charge close to $400 and also make a donation in Indie's name to Heartland Humane Society.
