Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I am awaiting the testing of my meter and next billing.I know that many customers made complaints concerning this issueJust wondering why some customer saw their bills almost tripled while some didn’t see any increaseI would think that if the billing cycle is the same and the weather is cold for all customers that the huge increase in amount due would be the same or close to it Regards, [redacted]

Mr*** has been delinquent on his account frequently in the last months, including being on the disconnect list twice. Based on his history, we are requiring an additional $deposit to bring this account into alignment with our Terms and Conditions. This amount as well as the
regular monthly bill was send for payment by February 24, 2018. Mr*** called in the office on January 23, 2018, asking about the letter he received and it was explained in detail to him. The $he is referring to is the distribution charge based on energy (kWh) usage on his February bill.We believe the bill is simple to understand and we have provided clear responses to his questions on the phone

I am rejecting this response because:what is the additional $charge for when I’m already having to pay a $bill and if anything why is my Distributer charge different than every other person on my street this does not make since and when other people have called in about all these extra charges Floresville Electric claims to other friends of mine is the face they under bought power so they are charging extra to the customer for there mistakes so if you can give a real explanation for why everyone is getting charged differently for the same usage this would be great

Ms. [redacted] energy consumption rose from 1,779 kWh to 5,012 kWh for these two billing periods. This is an increase of more than 2.8 times. The $198.59 bill was for the 31 day period from 11/20/17 to 12/19/17.   The average daily consumption was 57.4kWh/day and average cost is 11.2...

cents/kWh for this period. The $532.23 bill was for the 36 day period from 12/19/17 to 01/24/18.   The average daily consumption was 139.2kWh/day and average cost is 10.6 cents/kWh for this period. Our area experienced several extended periods of very cold weather much of which occurred during the second billing cycle.  In addition, this period includes holidays that can lead to increased usage since customers may be at home.  Also schools across the area were cancelled for a couple of days which can also increase energy usage when students are at home rather than school.  Another factor was the billing cycle was 5 days longer or about 15% longer.Additionally, no new charges have been added to customer bills.
