Hurricane Florence, September 12, caused large amounts of rain storms down east coastOur house flooded several times from the rain despite not being in direct path of hurricaneWe contacted the Mortgage company by phone, online and by email asking for help via forb or to cancel EFTEvery time we called we got voice mail box - no customer service or representative answeredWe followed the prompts online to send them message about our need for helpThey wrote back with automated message saying to call themWe called and got vcmail box againWe followed the FAQ prompts online for cancelling EFT = but the link that FAQ provides takes you to page that has no such option*** The FAQ says: Click here to cancel Automatic
Issues include:paying taxes, bill increase, incorrect billing, waiting a month to cash check, rude customer service, all on going for three years
First year with Union Home Mortgage they did not pay our taxes and we got the run around from them saying they paid them, but we were getting court letters in the mailFollowing year they said we paid to much in taxes and returned money to usThird year they didn't account for about $3,worth of taxes for that year which caused our monthly payment to increase about $each monthOver the past three years we continue to have a problem with bill statementsFor example they send a bill 4/with a due date of 5/Then on 5/we get another bill in the mail with the same information and due date of 5/In addition they hold our checks and do not deposit them for over a monthEach check that is sent in has our mortgage account number listed on the memo lineI have resent looked into changing mortgage companies when Union Home Mortgag
