We have resubmitted to the insurance company to try and get the procedure to be paid.  The insurance company needed additional information regarding the reasoning for the procedure.  We have no control over how long the insurance takes to make a decision about a claim. The pt...

does have the option of filing the claim directly without our help.  We will call the patient and explain this to him.  When trying to save a tooth it is unusual for 2 different procedures to be needed to help save the tooth, but in this case the patient needed a flap and also a graft.  The insurance has paid a portion on the flap, and we resubmitted for the graft.
