Review: Shortly after I paid the accountant for completing and filing my 2012 income tax returns, I noticed an error in the amount indicated for the Required Minimum Distribution from my IRA accounts. Only 50% of the RMD was used to calculate my income for 2012.I am concerned about the tax consequences of this error. I have been assured three times that a corrected return would be made available to me. Since more than 2 months have gone by with no sign of any action in this matter, I have little confidence that anything will happen before the IRS discovers the mistake.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive the promised corrected 1040 return for 2012.
