Review: In early June, 2013 I placed an order for 4 custom made window screens from Corkhill Manufacturing. They sent employees to my home on June ** to measure my windows. I paid $85 when they came to measure, which I was told would be applied to the purchase price of the screens. I was also told that since the windows were an unusual shape, the material would have to be sent to a subcontractor to bend the metal, and since it was a small order, they could not tell me how long the job would take. I told them that I needed the screens for an expected guest who was coming within the month, and they said they would try to complete the job by then, but couldn't promise. After a month passed, I started calling to ask when the screens would be ready. I was told that by the receptionist that [redacted], the owner, would find out and get back to me. We have repeated the aforementioned exchange weekly since late July, without [redacted] once getting back to me. By the end of August, I asked the receptionist whether they were able to make the screens at all. She said she didn't know and that [redacted] would have to get back to me. At that point I asked for a refund of my $85. Again I was told [redacted] would have to get back to me. I called again today, September [redacted]. Same conversation. No call back.Desired Settlement: I would like the Revdex.com to assist me in getting either a refund, or the screens I ordered.

We are aware that you have been trying to get a response as to the status of your order. We are sorry for not responding accordingly. We have been diligently trying to get a reply from our outside vendor as to when they will be able to accommodate our small order. We still have no specific completion date from the vendor. We did however explain to you, as you stated, from the beginning that we cannot guarantee a specific date or time frame for completion because it is something we do not control. Around mid August, we suggested that we could install the 2 that we manufacture in the interim while we await the outside vendor to complete the other 2 curved ones. You stated that you didn't really need the 2 square ones and that you wanted the 2 curved ones to be done. Unfortunately at this time we can not accommodate your order in a timely fashion and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. We will refund your $85 immediately.
