This is all info on how the unit was not registered, the equipment install was from *** , I informed the customer this is a very cheap and not good working piece of equipmentThe customer said they had cheaper price to install from
another contractor and a much lower capacity unit Now the house is a very old school house that is not insulated very well with foot ceilings, I told him that it would not be a good ideal to install the smaller equipment in that house but he said that since he wanted cheap that is the equipment he wanted at that priceThen at the time to pay for the equipment he wouldn't even pay the taxes which I had to pay
They did call me out a couple of times had looked at the unit, every time we showed up the equipment was working fine, as for the return having not been sealed that was something the customer said he would take care of
The registering of the equipment is the customers responsiblity , not the contractor It always comes with years warranty no matter if it's registered or notIf the customer registers it is bumped to yearsUnless it is brought on the internet, then nobody will warranty it
As far as the water in the exhaust, the equipment would not work at all if that was the caseAnd that would be easily fixedIt sounds the customer has been told information on the equipmentJust to get a rise out of themI have one a lot of work for *** a *** *** heat pump with no problems
I had the people from the *** factory set up to come out and look install over , when I run into *** at the store I told her I was going to have the factory trouble shooter out, she then told me not to have them out, they had decided to put in a package unit, which is going to be worse, the equipment that was installed was % package units are only 80%
I have installed and serviced all kinds of equipment and seen all kinds of installs ,never had a complaint about equipment, been a *** dealer for years
This was all brought from ***, all the equipment was new regardless of the date it was madeYou can call *** to check on it

The registering of the equipment is the customers responsiblity , not the contractor . It always comes with 5 years warranty no matter if it's registered or not. If the customer registers it is bumped to 10 years. Unless it is brought on the internet, then nobody will warranty it.

Just to get a rise out of them. I have one a lot of work for [redacted] a [redacted] heat pump with no problems.
