1) My company performed work on the customer's roof in 2) I received a "thank you" from the customer in December 2012, after sending her a check for cleaning her carpets and have not heard from her since, until a letter I received simultaneously with her contact with the RevDex.com. 3) The inside damage entryway water damage (new paneling, mold) she is asking me to pay, $1,150, was the original damage inside the house from the leaks that were happening before I was hired to roof the homeShe asked me for an estimate in 2011, for the pre-existing damage, exactly what I am seeing on the invoice from August from the new contractorI did not give her an estimate and I did not do the workThis is what she is expecting payment for now. 4) In her complaint to the Revdex.com she says I have not responded to the new claimsI have not heard from her until now, specifically August 30th 2016, asking for payment to fix pre-existing paneling and mold that was there before I did the roof. 5) If she had contacted me about leaks I would have returned to fix them as I always do with my clientsHowever the estimate she is expecting payment for is not about my work, it is about pre-existing mold and buckled paneling that was there before I did any work on the home. I am rejecting this response because:
Wm K Construction is blatantly lying in his response. First at the time of hiring him we verbally discussed the small leak in the porch which he assured me would be fixed when reroofing. Second after he finished I called him twice regarding this issue and that it had not been fixed. He then informed me that the porch had separated from the home and there was nothing he could do. Subsequently this was found to be totally untrue. Third and most important he reroofed the house AND porch and NO flashing was installed - if it had been the leaking would have been corrected and the original damage could have been fixed by me. Because of his totally unprofessional work I incurred damages that are totally his fault. At no time would I ever have called him back again as there is no trust that this would have been fixed correctly thank you
