Upon receiving a garnishment, in which I DID NOT dispute, I called the office to gain more clarity because I had been garnished before by the same company in which this one representsThe first representative I spoke to hung up on meAnd when I called back to speak to a supervisor, she refused to answer a simple question of "How did you come across my employment information since it is NOT public" and she refused to tell me how they did so and what report was used to pull my informationWorking in customer service, these are not practices I would imagine any business owner to allowYou do not hang up on callersYou do not refuse to give out information about said caller simply because you do not want to, only when law prohibits you and unless I am wrong, there is no law in Virginia that would stop one from giving information about that person, to them
