After reviewing the complaint file, I spoke with my employees involved in this transactionThey all stated, including Steve R***, that several numbers were discussed and that ultimately the amount that could be refunded to the customer would be at the discretion of the lenderThe lender would
not advance an amount high enough to allow us to cut a check back to the guest for $1,500, and as a result, $was agreed uponAs you can see on the attachment the guest acknowledged that he would receive $back from us by signing the documentBecause we believe that the amount back could have been better communicated among all parties, we either will make a goodwill gesture of a few hundred dollar or buy the vehicle back (assuming the $check is returned with the truck as well). I am rejecting this response because: If this was a demo then why was the used car sales manager driving it as I was told after they could not find the vehicle Why was I not told of the true mileage before you ran my credit and then invited me to come drive it NOT TELLING ME there were 10,extra miles on the car The advertising of the vehicle is proof, you falsely advertise a car that had 36,miles on it, I provided the information to Revdex.com as proof What you actually had was a car with 45,miles on it - Simply put Advertising - I requested you to remove your credit mark on my credit report and you did not I will not shop at your business because of the advertising and neither will any of my friends, family or colleagues. For your information - I purchased a *** with only 31,actual miles on it for $14, - yours has been on your lot for over days and it is still there - your Fleet Manager even confirmed that a manager was driving it and it is not being used as a Demo Just and FYI!!!!

After reviewing the complaint, the best offer that I can give is a $goodwill check to the guestThe deal made was extremely fair and upfront, and we are still willing to repurchase the truckHowever, the offer is made with the stipulation that we no longer receive threatening phones calls with abusive languageWe will not tolerate such behavior. I am rejecting this response because:I never signed or saw a document that said $back onlyI agreed and signed a $cash back document like the one you attached, shook hands with Steve, and waited aroundI know for a fact I didn't sign $because I walked outside, after the $acceptance, and had a couple cigarettes while waiting to sign official documentsNobody EVER pointed out that the $changedI would recall that and would have definitely had to think about it moreI've already put money into the truck (outside party inspection, AC fan fix, spare tire purchase)All under the understanding I would get $backI would love to see the actual copies of the "$500" and $quote documents I "signed"The $document is fake somehowThere's more than a lack of communication happening hereI promise you I didn't agree to $Your employees messed up at some point along the way and that is terrible businessI would take the remaining $in store credit

I have reviewed the response made by the business, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
I understand the psychology of your 'no more calls/abusive language' caveat. You want your business to appear as the victim here when people read this. However, that just simply isn't the case. Yes, on the day I received a check for $1000 LESS ($1000!!!) than what I agreed upon and what was clearly conveyed to me by your business and sales representative, I called multiple times and text my sales person inappropriate/unprofessional messages. I was extremely upset, as would any person in my situation. Maybe that kind of money doesn't mean anything to you but I'm 27 years old and only made the deal because I was told I would get the $1500 cash back. I was told they (finance dept) would have to mess with the sales tax calculation but would get it done. This is what worked for my budget need so I was ecstatic to get the vehicle I wanted at the right deal. $1000 is a big deal to me - I guess this will at least cut my loss down to $500. Anyway, to write that message of no more calls is quite misleading as that day was the last time I called. I quickly realized this issue needed to be escalated. Quite honestly I didn't want to talk to anyone else at your company as I have zero confidence in your operations. The second round of offering to buy back my truck is a useless gesture that again tries to shine good light on your business. I already told you I put money into the truck that would create even more of a loss for me if I sold it back to you....I will accept the additional $500 "goodwill" check.

August 27, 2015 Revdex.com Case #: [redacted] In regards to complaint number [redacted], our vehicle was advertised on our website with the pre-demo miles, and the vehicle was a demo when Mr. [redacted]-[redacted] inquired about the vehicle. Our goal is to always have the miles on our vehicle...

close to the actual mileage, and we now require demo miles to be updated weekly. We did not intend to waste Mr. [redacted]-[redacted] time. As a result of the misunderstand[redacted], we offered to reduce the price of the 2012 [redacted] by $968, a reduction that [redacted] values at approximately $400. I have attached a used car value guide to show that the price reduction that we offered him was an adequate price reduction for the increase in miles. In addition, we offered to send Mr. [redacted]-[redacted] a gift card to reimburse him for the time he wasted to drive from Denver to Longmont. The price that he offered for the vehicle was not accepted because the market does not substantiate the price offered by Mr. [redacted]-[redacted]. In addition, we offered Mr. [redacted]-[redacted] several other [redacted] to choose from that were more in-line with his mileage requirements. We believe that the offers we made to Mr. [redacted]-[redacted] were fair and adequate. Regards, Jerad K[redacted] General Manager [redacted] [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Please keep in mind that when you pulled my credit it was hard credit punk and therefore cause my credit score to go up.  I was able to get a 2% sorbet since your company pulled my credit I can only get a low 6.  Which is causing me to have to pay more on my car I bought.accordinf to your reviews on yelp this is something that is happening a lot at  your location. $10,000 gift card would be good
