Dear ***, Thank you for your emailI did try to send you an update to this unpleasantness that may or may not be resolved in the springAs I have not received a call back from Richard after I spoke to his wife, I assume that he does not want to satisfy the complaint until the spring when he may or may not do anything except ask for extra money to continue the work on the drivewayWhat I expected on the onset was a relatively inexpensive way to have some cracks filled in a driveway what I got, as I told Richard, was a very expensive lesson to learnIn any case, I know that you want an answer, resolved or not resolved but it is an answer that I can not answerSince I have never made a formal complaint against anyone, I will leave it up to the rules that your agency has put forthThank you, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowDear ***, Left you a message on your voice mail to
clarify the status of my complaintAfter doing that I tried to contact
Richard Williams again with the same phone numbers that I previously
tried and a phone message on the # and the local
# was not accepting incoming callsWhen I called a phone number
which turned out to be Richards wife, I started to leave a message and then she picked up the phoneShe was very kind and we had a nice
conversation. I guess she knew that there was a situation that may be
resolved in the spring and we agreed that if Richard would accept to pay a a refund of a $1,out of the $6,
I did pay him already we could settle it nowand he would get back to
me so it could be settled nowThe other alternative
she and I spoke about was to come back in the spring to finish the job
at little or no costAt this point there has been no other contact
regarding my complaint. Thank you for your attention in this matter. and I discussed was to wait until spring to complete the driveway patch job in the spring at little or no cost. Very truly yours, *** ***

I am writing in regards to the above mentioned complaint. It is true that on October 24, 2016 I did approach Mrs. [redacted] to give her a business card when I noticed the state of her driveway. My company has been working in her area. Mrs. [redacted] was a pleasure to speak with and was very excited...

to have her driveway repaired. I explained that this type of work is priced by square foot. I then explained that it would be $3.00 a square foot and the area thatshe was concerned with was 2,000 square feet. Mrs. [redacted] agreed and signed a contract.  I will add that in reading her compliant I had no idea she was under the impression that this would only cost between $1,500 and $2,000.00 dollars. In fact she was very happy with our workmanship and asked us to add more square footage. After the job was finished she asked me to come Inside for payment, she asked me if I would take some cash and the rest in check form, I agreed. I want to add that while she was writing out the check I was In no way trying to look at her bank ledger. In regards to her neighbor, pricing was different do to the work Involved.  In conclusion I would like to say that my company did not overcharge Mrs. [redacted]. I have attached one online pricing sheet (there are many to see that the average cost for Asphalt work ranges from $3.64 to $6.11 a square foot) price varies depending on whether or not this is resurface work , or if a total tea rout of the old driveway Is needed to resolve ground Issues. The $2.00 a square foot Mrs. [redacted] mentioned is the price of asphalt alone. Now that I have stated my side, I would like to say that after receiving this letter I was not angry but felt upset that Mrs. [redacted] was unsatisfied and had not tried to contact me. I left her yard on October 24, 2016 believing she was a happy customer. I take pride in my workmanship and reputation. That being said I reached out to Mrs. [redacted] by phone on January 9, 2017. She was very nice and agreed that she should have contacted me prior to writing this letter so that I could try to rectify any misunderstanding we may have had and give me a chance to make her happy. We have agreed that in the beginning of April, 2017, (which is the start of the new season for this type of work) I will come back and do whatever It takes to make her the happy customer I had thought she was.  I am asking the Revdex.com to please hold off on publishing this bad review and give me a chance to make this customer a satisfied one. As stated, If this customer had tried to contact me with her concerns prior to writing this letter I would have done everything in my power to make her a returning customer. If you need to contact me for any reason please do not hesitate. I can be reached at 845·321-9598. Thank you for your time.  Sincerely,  Richard Williams  Williams Bros.  Licensed Contractor WC 28387 Hl6

Dear [redacted],  Thank you for your email. I did try to send you an update to this unpleasantness that may or may not be resolved in the spring. As I have not received a call back from Richard after I spoke to his wife, I assume that he does not want to satisfy the complaint until the spring when he may or may not do anything except ask for extra money to continue the work on the driveway. What I expected on the onset was a relatively inexpensive way to have some cracks filled in a driveway what I got, as I told Richard, was a very expensive lesson to learn. In any case, I know that you want an answer, resolved or not resolved but it is an answer that I can not answer. Since I have never made a formal complaint against anyone, I will leave it up to the rules that your agency has put forth. Thank you, [redacted]
