had been invoiced under a shop ticket because he would only give the information “***” and refused any further personal information.The customer had done his own repairs and came to our shop for his vehicle’s computer update We purchased the files to update the customer’s computer from *** ***, using his vehicle identification number We updated his computer with the files purchased for his vehicle from *** *** and this did not resolve the problem. Now, first we did not do the initial repair to his vehicleSecond, we do not know what symptoms the vehicle exhibited prior to the customer replacing sensors Third, the customer was charged for the files purchased for him We did not charge him our customary fee for the services provided Fourth, the customer did not contact us regarding any warranty or satisfaction issues.The customer arrived at our shop late in the day with the request of updating his vehicle’s computer, which we did We did not have any time to do any diagnostics to determine what was causing the continued problem with his vehicle Therefore, we have no way of verifying that we are at fault in any manner We had no opportunity to determine if the repairs done by the customer were the problem or notThe customer has not contacted us personally to discuss this matter in any way.At this point, we will gladly refund his payment of $that was charged Sincerely,*** ***Williams Brothers Auto Service
