Dear Sir or Madam: We understand how frustrating this may seemHowever, all our tickets, including the ones this customer sent in, have "this ticket void after 50% of the program is completed" printed on themAll the people that attended did not have any grievances as this is our policy A rain out is when the race is not locked in and will never be finished, then there is a full refund issued as per Rain Check Policy InstructionsOn Saturday July 22nd, 2017, we had completed all the qualifying races leading up to the feature race, which had to be postponed until September 28th, This feature will move forward until accomplished as the purse is locked in (if rain on September 28th, will be moved to the 29th, if rain on the 29th, will be moved to the 30th, etc.)When the rain started on that night, all the qualifying was done, which means the feature start positions are locked into placeOn July 22nd, when the announcement was made it was stated that the feature, which again was already locked in, would be run on September 28th, the next time the World of Outlaws will be racing at our facilityIn this instance, because the field is set, and the race will be run at a later date, we put a hold onto the purse money, which is paid from ticket sales for that race, which was originally to be run on July 22nd, Our Gates Opened at 5pm and the postponement was called at 10:22pm, which is a length for racesThank You, Williams Grove Speedway

The July 22nd Race at Williams Grove Speedway had the gates open at 5:PM and racing started at 7:PMWe raced Hot Laps, Time Trials, Heat Races, Dash and the B-main event before cancelling the A-main event due to rain This is a completed show with the field and purse locked in The track policy is "the ticket is void after 50% of the program is completed" Having completed the B-main race, it is a complete show Attached to this letter is a copy of the customers tickets with the policy printed on them The customer never attended the show because the security portion is still attachedThank You,Williams Grove Speedway

Williams Grove Speedway canceled the main race on July 22nd due to rain and is refusing to comply with their policy to refund the ticket costI purchased two tickets for a total of $on 3/21/On July 24th I sent my unused tickets and a return envelope to Williams Grove Speedway in accordance with their posted rain cancellation policy which is clearly posted on their web siteAfter weeks of waiting to my refund of $I sent an email to Williams Grove Speedway and received an reply on 8/15/stating that they were not going to refund the ticketsI sent a reply email immediately, but they have not responded as of today 8/22/I already had to lose the cost of a motel room due to the rain cancellation

I am rejecting this response because:The main race was not run at all due to rain. Not 50% of the main race, but not at all. If Williams Grove Speedway will not refund the cost of the tickets then they should pay for another motel room on the rescheduled night and provide us with two tickets for the rescheduled race. It is unacceptable for Williams Grove Speedway to not comply with its own rain policy. The cost of a motel room would be $151 plus tax and fees if booked today.

December 3, 2015We understand all of your concerns regarding your World of Outlaws ticket refunds, however we feel we have already addressed these in previous correspondence with the Revdex.com. We feel sorry for the loss you sustained with your home during the State of Emergency, however the relevance of the emergency is out of our control since the Governor of Virginia declared this on Wednesday September 30, 2015. No contact was made in writing or in person to our office prior to the first day of the three-day event beginning on October 1, 2015. We were only notified of this, once the request for a refund was made weeks after the event had ended. Tickets for Thursday and Friday's events were refunded to all because the event was cancelled with no scheduled rain date, however Saturday's rain date was announced at the beginning of the year prior to the sale of tickets.As stated previously in other correspondence and above, we stand behind our decision to not honor rain checks for the scheduled rain date event.Thank youWilliams Grove Speedway
