She called the office and scheduled a family law consultation, which requires a $scheduling fee That fee is refundable in the event we are not retained at the time of the consultation It is charged merely to ensure that the person shows up for their consultationAfter scheduling the family law consultation, but before it occurred, she called back to advise that a child abuse and neglect issue had arisen She asked if that issue could be covered in her consultation My team advised her that yes, we can certainly address the additional issue in her consultation; however, that type of consultation requires a $300.00consultation fee That fee is charged because substantive legal information is provided in this consultation, and it addresses an area of practice (child abuse) for which we are noted in the community as having a particular expertise – namely, I have personally appeared on the [redacted] show to address child abuse issues; I have been interviewed on the news regarding child abuse legal decisions; a blog I hosted was cited by the media for the defense position on child abuse and neglect issues pending before the NJ Supreme Court; and I regularly lecture to attorneys and judges on the topic of child abuse and neglectShe accepted the terms and paid the additional $200.00, for a total of $She consulted with an attorney on our team She did not agree with the legal advice provided to her and became defensive and hostile as a result She abruptly terminated the call, but later called back to demand her money back She was reminded of the $consultation fee and was advised that payment was received for services rendered in fullShe became accusatory and rude with our office, accusing us of deceiving her because she never would have paid any money, had she known she would have to pay merely to speak to an attorney, who would not take her case All effort was made to address her concernsWithin minutes of her rude communications with this office, she wrote her complaint on the Revdex.com website, alleging the attorney with whom she spoke by phone was nonchalant, that she was deceived, misled, etc We were not aware of this Complaint, and yet, I already made the decision to refund her the $– basically nuisance money to leave us alone A fee that was earned, and properly paid, but was being refunded to her to assuage her unreasonable complaintDespite this office refunding her the money – a gift that was not due her – she maintained her stance with the Revdex.com by not removing her complaint from the website She even went further to falsely file a fraud claim with her credit card company – which, had we not investigated it, would have resulted in her receiving $in refunded money! Her claims about this office are false, and we would respectfully request that you make whatever notations are necessary in order to have the file reflect same

She called the office and scheduled a family law consultation, which requires a $100.00 scheduling fee.  That fee is refundable in the event we are not retained at the time of the consultation.  It is charged merely to ensure that the person shows up for their...

consultation. After scheduling the family law consultation, but before it occurred, she called back to advise that a child abuse and neglect issue had arisen.  She asked if that issue could be covered in her consultation.  My team advised her that yes, we can certainly address the additional issue in her consultation; however, that type of consultation requires a $300.00consultation fee.  That fee is charged because substantive legal information is provided in this consultation, and it addresses an area of practice (child abuse) for which we are noted in the community as having a particular expertise – namely, I have personally appeared on the [redacted] show to address child abuse issues; I have been interviewed on the news regarding child abuse legal decisions; a blog I hosted was cited by the media for the defense position on child abuse and neglect issues pending before the NJ Supreme Court; and I regularly lecture to attorneys and judges on the topic of child abuse and neglect. She accepted the terms and paid the additional $200.00, for a total of $300.00. She consulted with an attorney on our team.  She did not agree with the legal advice provided to her and became defensive and hostile as a result.  She abruptly terminated the call, but later called back to demand her money back.  She was reminded of the $300.00 consultation fee and was advised that payment was received for services rendered in full. She became accusatory and rude with our office, accusing us of deceiving her because she never would have paid any money, had she known she would have to pay merely to speak to an attorney, who would not take her case.  All effort was made to address her concerns. Within 20 minutes of her rude communications with this office, she wrote her complaint on the Revdex.com website, alleging the attorney with whom she spoke by phone was nonchalant, that she was deceived, misled, etc.  We were not aware of this Complaint, and yet, I already made the decision to refund her the $300.00 – basically nuisance money to leave us alone.  A fee that was earned, and properly paid, but was being refunded to her to assuage her unreasonable complaint. Despite this office refunding her the money – a gift that was not due her – she maintained her stance with the Revdex.com by not removing her complaint from the website.  She even went further to falsely file a fraud claim with her credit card company – which, had we not investigated it, would have resulted in her receiving $600.00 in refunded money! Her claims about this office are false, and we would respectfully request that you make whatever notations are necessary in order to have the file reflect same.
