Williamsburg Windows & Doors Reviews (2)

I signed a proposal with Williamsburg Windows and Doors for new windows on February 19, The process was only supposed to take 3-weeks from start to finish, but it took weeks for mines The first installation of my new windows was on April 10th On this date the window installer determined that windows was the wrong size and needed to be re-ordered He said he had to take the correct measurement and take them into the office the following morning to order He said they could put a rush on the windows and they could be installed probably within daysThe four wrong windows was inexcusable I then called *** the man in charge, I told him about the wrong size windows and now I had to wait even longer all my windows to be installed, plus take another day off from work, so what was his company going to do for me for all this inconvenience He replied all I can do is put a rush on the windows and have them installed on a Saturday I asked him to also adjust the price for my inconvenience he said No I can’t do that, I said ok
The rush on my windows took days On April 30th I had a call from *** asking if they could install my windows on the following Wednesday even thou I was told earlier they would be installed on a Saturday I told her no I was told by *** they would be installed on Saturday She said ok I don’t know anything about that and will have *** call you back I actually called *** on May and he said he would have to check with the installers to see if they can work on a Saturday *** called my back later in the day and asked if the windows can be installed on this Sunday instead of Saturday I only had church planned but stay home to get my windows installed So the rush process took days over weeks I don’t call that a rush job at all I felt they really didn’t care about how long it tookOut of five stars I give them a two star
How many companies order the wrong size windows for a customer and call days is a rush job

I signed a proposal with Williamsburg Windows and Doors for new windows on February 19, 2014. The process was only supposed to take 3-4 weeks from start to finish, but it took 7 weeks for mines. The first installation of my new windows was on April 10th. On this date the window installer determined that 4 windows was the wrong size and needed to be re-ordered. He said he had to take the correct measurement and take them into the office the following morning to order. He said they could put a rush on the windows and they could be installed probably within 10 days. The four wrong windows was inexcusable. I then called [redacted] the man in charge, I told him about the 4 wrong size windows and now I had to wait even longer all my windows to be installed, plus take another day off from work, so what was his company going to do for me for all this inconvenience. He replied all I can do is put a rush on the 4 windows and have them installed on a Saturday. I asked him to also adjust the price for my inconvenience he said No I can’t do that, I said ok.

The rush on my 4 windows took 20 days. On April 30th I had a call from [redacted] asking if they could install my windows on the following Wednesday even thou I was told earlier they would be installed on a Saturday. I told her no I was told by [redacted] they would be installed on Saturday. She said ok I don’t know anything about that and will have [redacted] call you back. I actually called [redacted] on May 2 and he said he would have to check with the installers to see if they can work on a Saturday. [redacted] called my back later in the day and asked if the windows can be installed on this Sunday instead of Saturday. I only had church planned but stay home to get my windows installed. So the rush process took 23 days over 3 weeks. I don’t call that a rush job at all. I felt they really didn’t care about how long it took. Out of five stars I give them a two star.

How many companies order the wrong size windows for a customer and call 23 days is a rush job.
