I am rejecting this response because:Williamson Caterers did not communicate with the client about arriving two (2) hours prior to the venue nor was it a part of my contractOn numerous occasions I have requested copies of the contract where it states to arrive two (2) hours early and as of writing this Williamson Caterers has REFUSED to provide a signed contract that authorizes them to WITHHOLD my OVERPAYMENT of $1,which clearly indicates that I was BAITED and SWITCHED.Williamson Caterers claims that the reception ran beyond five hours is not true either. The reception was exactly five hours it started at PM and ended at PM.Williamson Caterers claims to have spoken to the bride, the mother and father of the bride at the end of the event is not true.Williamson Caterers claims to have made every effort to discuss the overtime and the order of events that took place the day of the eventThis is not a true statement. My father tried to speak with Rick from Williamson Caterers but he was to busy to talk to him nor did he speak with my mother.Williamson Caterers REFUSES to provide the contract Lindsay S*** stated in her email dated 10-12-that I was contracted for them to arrive two (2) hours early for overtime and continues to WITHHOLD my $1,OVERPAYMENTThe contract that Williamson Caterers and I signed is clear and it states that the event starts and PM and ends at PM (Hours) it DOES NOT state for Williamson Caters to arrive two (2) hours early for overtime nor does it authorize them to withhold my $1,OVERPAYMENT.After previously sending all evidence to support my position it clearly indicates that I was BAITED and SWITCHED by Williamson Caterers since they continue to WITHHOLD my Overpayment of $without a signed contract to do so which is deeply troubling

Williamson Caterers provides full service, off premises catering for events such as weddings, private affairs, corporate receptions etc.  The event in this matter was a wedding catered at an off premises venue called [redacted] in Stockton NJ.  Our standard procedure is that Williamson Caterers arrives 2 hours prior to the start of an event to facilitate set-up, service and clean.  We provide everything needed for an event - china, silverware, glassware, food, cooking and service equipment, etc.  All catering staff arrives at the same time and leaves at the same time - it is a very team oriented approach that we take.  The ala carte menus the client pricing was based on provides for Williamson Caterers to be on site for a maximum of seven hours - 2 hours for set up, 4 1/2 hours of reception time and 30 minutes for clean up.  Overtime is a standard disclosure on all contracts provided by Williamson Caterers. During the first meeting and tasting with the client, the bride was considering an all disposable event.  In that instance, staff overtime would be unlikely as the set up and clean up are greatly diminished.  Approximately two months prior to the event, the client opted to have china, silverware and glassware for the event - which changes the staffing requirement and the time needed to set-up and clean up the event.  Overtime was discussed with client as a possibility, relative to the length of the event.  Williamson Caterers confirmed the start and end times for the function with [redacted] and confirmed arrival time.[redacted] is a working [redacted] and [redacted] from which a client can rent the barn for a reception. Everything needed for the event has to be rented - tables, chairs, dance floor, lighting, etc.  It is the responsibility of the caterer - in this case Williamson Caterers - to handle the set up of the tables and chairs, as well as the bringing in cooking equipment and setting up an on site kitchen for the event - we cook all food on site.  In addition, Williamson Caterers is responsible for the set up and break down of the ceremony area - on the property but in a different location. Williamson Caterers had communicated with the client and the venue management that Williamson Caterers would be responsible for the set up of the tables and chairs for the reception and arrived 2 hours prior to the start of the reception in order to do so. Upon arrival, the tables and chairs had been set-up - it is my understanding that the venue staff (different from the caterers) decided to set up the tables and chairs on their own the day of the event. This would typically take about 30
minutes to do, and we anticipated this as part of our work load.  Williamson Caterers completed the event as contracted for the 180 plus
guests - bar service, hors d'oeuvres, buffet dinner, dessert service and
clean up, with all china, silverware, table linens and glassware
provided.  Williamson Caterers spoke with the bride, the father of the
bride and the mother of the bride at the end of the event and all
feedback was positive.  The staff began the process of breaking down all
of the tables and chairs in accordance with the catering guidelines
provided by Williamson Caterers.Williamson Caterers provided the service and time management according to the contract to ensure a successful event.  The actual reception time ended up running 5+ hours.  In that time Williamson Caterers works throughout the reception to expedite the clean up and break down process.  At one point, it was obvious that we were ahead of schedule and I (management on site) chose a number of staff to send home early since we would not need the entirety of the staff to break down the space.  I am very aware of the costs to clients and do everything possible to mitigate any additional charges.  In the end, Williamson Caterers staff was on site for 8.5 hours.I take very seriously the experience of our clients.  Williamson Caterers has over 60 years of off premises catering service throughout the Delaware Valley, and I alone have over 30 years in the business.  We make every effort to accommodate client's wishes and last minute changes.  Since we were ready early, the client may see that as an attempt on Williamson Caterers' part to add on additional costs.  But under no circumstances was there an effort to "bait and switch" the client with increased pricing and costs.  Considering the 10,000+ events catered over the years and the many hundreds of brides that we have worked with, this is the first time a wedding client has claimed a lack of communication on our part.I made every effort to discuss the overtime and the order of events that took place the day of the event.  I offered my cell phone number to the client to call me directly or to plan a time to talk.  Funds for overpayment were provided (the initial guest count was 220) in a timely manner.
