Tuesday, July 18, As is our procedure we contacted the exterminator and scheduled a treatment for her apartment the following Monday, 7/24/The reason for the six day delay is that before the roach treatment can be applied the apartment needs to be prepared by the residentThis preparation includes emptying all upper and lower kitchen cabinets and drawers as well as the sink base cabinet in the bathPast experience has taught us that it will take three to five days for the tenant to receive our letter with the instruction checklist and complete the steps needed to prepare the apartmentWe treated her apartment on 7/24/and once again on 7/31/After the second treatment the exterminator felt the problem was solved and cancelled any further visitsTenant called again on August 15, reporting that she saw another roach and in response the apartment was treated again on 8/21, 8/and 9/At this point the exterminator was confident the roaches were goneWe have made a sincere effort to solve this pest problem for our residentI understand her concern and have no doubt that she is a good house keeperRoaches can be carried in on grocery bags and other paper products and will occupy your home no matter how clean you keep it Steve *** Property Manager-Mailand Management
