Review: My dad [redacted], for whom I have POA, entered Emeritus at Roanoke on 8/28/2012 with a 20 day supply of medications. Williamson's billed me for meds on 8/28 and 9/5 which were not needed. According to the staff at Emeritus the meds were ordered and subsequently returned to Williamson's and I should receive a credit. Interestingly enough these charges were taken off their statements and then reappeared in early 2013. I have made numerous phone calls and written on every monthly bill that they need to resolve with Emeritus at Roanoke. After all Emeritus at Roanoke says it had been resolved and I should receive a credit. I have spent hours on this sent copies proving he walked in with a 20 day supply. I called them this past week and the only response I got was an itemized statement. They did not have the decency to follow up with Emeritus or call me on the phoneDesired Settlement: I will settle for nothing short of a credit. If not resolved through you I will pursue further. It isn't about the money it is about how people are treated and what is right and what is immoral.

· Patient was admitted to Emeritus on 8/28/12 and his prescription drug benefit was not provided to Williamson’s. As a result, the patient was billed the full cost of each medication.· Williamson’s received prescription drug benefit from [redacted] on 10/22/12. We submitted all medications to the patient’s [redacted] drug benefit.· Since medications were submitted after they had been dispensed, drug benefit would not allow override for certain medications which resulted in the patient being billed again for these charges in full.· It appears that [redacted] at Emeritus will be accepting financial responsibility for the claims not covered by patient’s drug benefit. This portion will be owed by Emeritus and not the family once we have her written approval. [redacted] will be returning from vacation on Monday, August 5th.· We reached out to Ms. [redacted] on 7/31 and advised the steps that we have taken and she appeared to be happy with the outcome and the way we are working with Emeritus to get this issue resolved for her.
