I am rejecting this response because:They never contacted me on this at allI had notified the Doctor not the billing department of this in writing & was sent by fax so that the Doctor would have this that same day & at no time did they mention to me that if I
went some where else that I would need to supply the x-raysI still stand by what I submitted to them & at no time did I even talk to them at all on thisI still feel that they had a responsibility to check & verify all dental benefits prior to seeing meThe office was notified of this on the day that I went in about thisThey should have then should have canceled my appointment until the benefits were verify, & I still should not have to pay the $which the bill shows in black & white that it was a co-payment that was due

Review: I had my teeth cleaned on 12/20/14, at which time I informed the office that my dental coverage changed to [redacted] The office verified all information that day as to my benefits. On 1/2/15 they sent me a bill for $32.00 which they claim was a co-payment. I found out that the charge for bite wing x-rays was denied do to a charge of $60.00 where by my insurance will only cover $32.00. I sent this to the dentist showing my proof of plan details. I have informed them to re-bill insurance.Desired Settlement: Being that the office did verify all benefits prior to taking me they should be willing to accept the proof that was faxed to them on 1/16/15. I feel that I should not have to pay this bill do to their mistake.
